CIG has a vast hord of straight up junkies, addicts, poor souls with 10, 25, 50K "invested". These people need counseling, they can't help but buy new ships, and CIG knows it so it's all they do now. It's like they are drug pushers, it's evil.
SC manages to feel outdated and incomplete at the same time. It's like watching someone proudly showing off their progress designing and building a 1995 Toyota Corolla... in 2024 🤦♂️
I used to like this game but now I'm bored shitless and don't play any more. The same boring missions and no pyro. and crappy servers and a shit load of bugs. A complete scam.

You see the difference between No Mans Sky and Star Citizen is one developer chose to work hard to deliver a space game that was good to sell while the other decided to sell concepts of a game that will never be. NMS crushes Concept Citizen
this kid is comparing a children's wooden house to a 5 star hotel but what gets your ego running is up to you. who wants to play a game on hard when there is sand boxes for children. no thx I put money into star citizen because I see past the childish behavior of complaining on scam citizen, server meshing and the vastness of star citizen but sure it's not runned by hello games that needs to get out the games as fast as possible, CIG is'nt EA or a bug filled shit hole company. YES there are bugs in the game but people don't understand that it's still not the full game and when people that is childish like this? well I would rather live in a top modern house whit newly discovered tech that will make the world of living better then playing the bug filled sandbox for kids.

I have never played NMS. But I am planning to do it soon. The only things I would like to have added is A) A character customiser to make my own character (and with human appearance). B) A centered character in the middle of the screen at 3rd person view. C) A more "real" multilayer gameplay where I can interact with other players in this universe. (No PvP though. Just PvE and Co-op). D) Interaction with alien civilizations on the planets to discover. Then this game will be 99% perfect.
If you're playing on PC, I highly recommend getting "NMS Decompressinator" from the Nexus. It's just a script that decompresses all the game files to completely eliminate on-the-fly decompression (which is the main culprit in lag and stutter). I ran it a couple weeks ago, and I have ZERO lag spikes. Even when leaving or entering a planet. The only downside is it makes the game take up around 3 times more space on disk. But if you have the disk space to spare, it makes a HUGE difference. Another thing that helps a lot, is setting windows performance options to prioritize background services over programs. No idea why it helps, but it definitely does. You can set it back to "Programs" when you aren't playing NMS. Finally, if you're using an Nvidia card (no idea if this translates to AMD), in the control panel, make sure "Vulkan/OpenGL Present Method" is set to "Prefer Native". For some reason, it defaults to "Prefer Layered on DXGI Chain" every time the driver is updated. "Prefer Native" is much smoother. With those three tweaks, NMS is now the smoothest running game I own.
Thanks for your coverage of NMS - Please do some Elite coverage especially with the new ships and Power Play coming. I do not think you will ever convince a hard core SC player to play NMS. They do not compare with each other - and only one is a released game. As a released game NMS will continue to grow and get better while SC is still figuring out what it wants to do and how to best monitize it. It is great how NMS mentions a release and features and you are playing the next day while SC mentions features but leave it up to you to test for months . Like I said only one is an actual game. It comes down to what you are willing to accept. Hours of gameplay or hours of technical frustration and hope. Its our choice but at the end of the day NMS does not have the content creator coverage of SC because frustration and hope gets more clicks and sells more than actual game play.
You could say I'm a hard core SC player. Basically Only think I played for a couple years. Backed and waited, not for the game to be completed but ANY content worth playing. Nms gives me that.
@@gemreviews2840 For all the bugs and lack of gameplay I find the hype around SC absolutely amazing. CIG only needs to show a picture of a base and there are so many content creators covering it and making assumptions then they would actually cover creating bases in NMS which is nothing new. Even bases underwater
@GEM REVIEWS Hi!| i get your points, what No Man's Sky has above SC....but you also must understand No Man's Sky is by no means rose either: 1) Its extremely repetitive....more than 85% of planets and biomes are just slightely colored versions 2) if realism is what you are after (and, as i've explained you in a post of mine on one of your previous videos...the more realism, the less suspension of disbelief...thus, the better that game or movie), No Man's Sky is very low on it! Its simply NOT realistical at all to find dozens/ hundreds/ thousands of systems and planets compatible with exploration, that rich in life! This greatly reduces the realism and increases suspension of disbelief! Thisi is a trait more for childish cartoons and games than games meant for more mature audience! 3) The design, look & feel of assets in No Man's Sky is still quite childish compared to SC ! 4) Regarding the time-sink... Dude, if we ever get to other planets for real, i assure you, each trip out - even the brief ones! - will be a major time sink! in 99% of time, you will NOT zip arround like a cartoon character, like you do in No Man's Sky! Ship interior does look ok-ish, but still, no where near as smooth, mature, seasoned look like any mid-large size ships in SC. Also, way too many brightly color lights (at some point, it looks like a christmas tree :)) )...cartoonish indeed... SC gets it right in plenty aspects too like realism ! If we ever do branch out into the Universe, it ll be far more likely we'll find only a small number of actually inhabitable planets (Stanton has 4), with the rest being too inhospitable, small etc. Also, the way ships move in No Man's Sky is extremely arcadey...with basicly, zero physics. SC is much better (even with Master Modes!). For space lovers like me, the more realism the better...while No Man's Sky has merits, its still too childish for a mature audience! Starfield from Bethesda was a great candidate for mature space lovers...but sadly, they dropped the ball. Its true SC still has a lot of work ahead of them, SC needs to focus better etc....but seriously now, stop peddling a game with 14 year-old theme, look and feel! Yes, No Man's Sky is less cartoon-ish...but still, has far too much cartoon-ish in it! It still has tons of bright pinks/ purples/ oranges - basicly, an eye-sore of color-salad - mixed in with arcadey physics (no physics are simulated! notice the tight ship corners with no real effects!)
Star Citizen may look more realistic or for mature players...ok But NMS has EVERYTHING ELSE. It is playable. It has several things to do. It has real exploration. It gets better year after year. SC on the on the other hand has limited things to do, they are bugged as hell, it can be unplayable for a long time, it needs a monster pc to run, it is NOT READY and it will not be for years, if ever, it is EMPTY of content with empty places, you can't interact with most of what you see, it feels broken, it has become pay to play, it will be repetitive too, because there is no other way, and most importantly, I don't have to wait for an other decade or more to see if CIG will make the game they promised of (most possible) will fail, losing all money and players.
@@hariszark7396 99% of SC's issues - lag, stuff exploding, glitches etc - come from the fact the servers cant handle the load. Plain and simple! Outside of events that draw alot of players, SC plays quite well! But CIG greatly increased server load with new physics and such...everything must be calculated server-side...so there is your issue. BTW...How do you define "real exploration" ?! 🤨 How do you define "fake exploration" ?! You do realize both are just pixels...riiight ? SC isnt a pay to play per se (just the 1st ship purchase) but truth be told..it should be a subscription model like WoW (with greatly increased server capacity). I dont know how server mesh operates, but if CIG cant do something about the server load - the root issue of lags, ships exploding at random etc - things will go down south fast for CIG. Yes, Star Citizen does require quite a hefty machine to run on - honestly, well deserved! From ships, to people to buildings to physics (something which No Man's Land has no idea of!) everything just looks way more mature, more fluid, higher quality on SC ! Even the uglier, cheaper ships like Aurora MR are still leagues over similar-size and class from No Man's Sky in terms of design! Medium to larger ships...c mon dude! No Man's Sky's ships look like mock-ups...as if hastly drawn! With gory, low-taste, bright, childish colors to boot - neon pink neon purple etc. Seriously...! Maybe you like childish coloring-book design...fine! A perfectly valid point! No one can dispute tastes! what is awsome about flying from space to a planet is u are free which means u can take your time make it more real by entering the planet or just use boost if u are not in the mood, u have the freedom to do so even in space u can reach planet in an hour or u can reach it in seconds
nms now is much better and i hope they add cities and i know it is hard but if they do shit is gonna be awesome and im sure more people will play the game and they already sold 10m coppies

Cig is spending their time on tools, but due to failures of leadership armed a more granular path to victory, the developers are left to design wishes. As a result many of the things do make get remade later wasting time and effort. For example the existing flight model is like a 3.0 of the original. The original measured force and applied it to objects. And the gravity of planets is just another force applied to an object. If you park your ship above a planet in the right band you can zero all power. You also can step outside your ship for Eva and fall to your doom. All with out the ship moving. They just keep redoing work. Progress is painfully slow
@@gemreviews2840 You're wrong... computers overheat because manufacturers are pushing hardware too far with default boost overclocking and suicide voltage, that's your real problem my guy, doesn't have anything to do with games or software optimization. My 13900ks with 1.150 voltage at 5.6 ghz all p-cores don't overheat in star citizen, doesn't go over 55C/131F, and that is with a super quiet fan profile. My tip would be to undervolt underclock your cpu or get better cooling. Sometimes you have to optimize your own computer for it to run properly. Other than that, I agree with you on Star Citizen.
You're dumb. This patch is all about bug fixing and performance optimisation. If you compare this patch against Star Citizen 3.23, you're dead. I highly recommand you to check roadmap release view and is in the 3.23 category.
in my opinion star citizen would be just fine with one system as opposed to trying to compete with games like no man’s sky. Immersive games especially if you are going for an IMMERSIVE MMO are best played in medium sized maps with a boatload of content and features not a strung out universe that creates more problems than it fixes
Bought my Freelancer along with SC game package 12 years ago, never been able to reliably bed log in all that time. Its just pathetic tbh. Never bought another ship since then because of that! NMS and Hello Games are just at another level altogether.
They say all of this but when it's released and you arrive, missions are busted, NPCs are froze and it's basically other players flying around killing other players. This is of course after it takes you 1 1/2 hours to get your gear(that you lose and can't get back), your ship ( if it doesn't explode) meet up with your friends (if they don't explode/die) and if you're lucky enough to avoid the server crashes.
The minitaur limbs not functioning from the expedition sucked. I sent hello games a ticket just to let them know mine was broke, but I didn't mind that much because I was confident that they were already taking care of it. They proved me right, and Hello Games continues to gain even more support and respect from me. CIG owes me $1368 USD, and I aim to get it back.
I can't understand how, with games like No Man's Sky & Elite Dangerous out there, people can still prefer to play in one unfinished solar system instead of two completely finished and infinitely vast galaxies. I want to play Star Citizen, but I want to play it IF and when it ever becomes a full game.
i had to stop playing, because the game crashed after 3 minutes a few months ago. it is sad they dont have the proper workflow to fix bugs once an update is pushed to production server. but that game isng going to die like that lol. year after year, they make more content and overall it is a progress. they have skilled people onboard, but i can see a big lack in software development management. they may figure out one day how to do things properly, because they have the money to do so. generally the person responsible for wasting everybody's time will depart, and let someone that knows his/her job take things in charge. i can only wish them good luck to refactor their internal processes, because this is counter productive, i know they can do better, this game has more 3d assets than 10x AAA games combined.
