Paul Newman had a Volvo much like yours in dark green. He had a upgraded drivetrain and a Coyote race engine installed leaving a perfect sleeper undetected until he slammed the gas pedal. He drove it around Westport Connecticut where he lived.
Absolutely brilliant. I'll chop this off and move over there. This is the reason why big main dealers can't make decent cars any more. They're hiring cheap designers and mechanics.
I've often wondered what benefits a computer controlled shifter would make (I.e. it selects the gear when you switch and has control of engine throttle for optimum timing).
A long time ago I had a friend who everyone knew was a mythomaniac. And once he said he had found a Lamborghini at a dump station. But he didn't want it because it had a Volvo engine in it. So an extra big smile for me there. Two words, crazy Swedes.🤪
