If you ever decide to try this again, instead of trying to pull vacuum on the outside, use positive pressure on the inside a bicycle inner tube cut and plugged off on each end with a single valve would do the trick nicely. Add air pressure until it starts to push resin back out and then just let it sit and cure
It is easier, cheaper, and cleaner to use a CNC machine on CF plate at whatever thickness you need. It is sometimes necessary to manually form carbon fibre, but not when the pieces are flat. Using a 3018 type machine I can knock out 100+ of the frame and paddle parts in a day.
Nice part, but lots of unused prepreg here. Better use tape to map out the surfaces beforehand and create a stencil with it. This way, you only use the amount of CF you actually need.

can you do just a little detailed video on how you make the negative mold once you make the tube model? I want to try making some forged carbon parts but dont know where to start to make the mould so easy like you did
