Hi. thanks for the video. What type of wood can I use? I found this one in my hardware store Structural Graded C24 Treated Carcassing Timber 2x4. is that one ok?
You have no clue how to take care of the eel. Not even a big enough aquarium, no where for it to hide. You don't deserve the eel. You did this for your ego. How would you like to be put in an aquarium, taken out of your home, no where to hide, and be looked at all the time. You know NOTHING. You don't deserve any of what you have. Eel going to die, because of you. Hope your damn ego, was worth it.
The only videos for this I could find were all in Chinese with English subtitles and it was very confusing. Your video helped me get it perfect. Thanks dude.
Ever touch a capacitor in a Microwave oven? You will only do that once, then you will get an insulated screwdriver to short it out first before delving into one.
Joey, you used to have RU-vid homemade hanging lights. Made of plantpots you painted black. What kind of lightbulbs did you use? Was it LED? And which colour and how much lumen? I hope you read this. Thanks
I never thought I could teach the KING something but I’ll explain how you can unhook your fx6 filter without getting water everywhere. While it’s still plugged in, shut off your inlet going to your filter. Then shut off your outlet going to your tank. Now unplug your filter. When you remove the hoses, no water will come out.
Good build, but it would've look much better if it was at least a foot taller and if the unecessary center brace wasn't there. Also, why not just leave the water in, instead of draining it?
@kingofdiy my process exactly however , you did not mention how often you lube the o rings? I do mine once or twice a year with food grade lube, to keep them supple
Hey Joey, I have binge watched so many of your videos. I recently got back into the fish keeping hobby after being gone for 20-years. I love oscars and want to build a custom plywood aquarium. I plan on keeping it in my office (away from home). I have a question about moving a plywood aquarium. Are plywood aquariums able to be safely moved? If I build it at home and water test it....what are the chances that it will still be water-proof after i move it to my office? Thanks for your time and consideration.
There is a way to disconnect the fx6 without spilling. There is a drain at the bottom so open that before you disconnect it. I'm pretty sure the instructions tell you to do that.
This is amazing. Been watching your channel since day one your dedication to this is just fantastic. Just me, but I would have done the colour black? - angles will be cool but what about white cloud mountain minnows and hillstream loaches with lots of fast flow. - could stack up the rocks on the left hand side so the water really flows fast over the rocks into the winter column to make it a stream. - Once adding the sand could add larger gravel close to the river stone to really give it detail that could just set it to look really natural. Dennerle do smaller pebbles/gravel that will match the riverstone nicely. Hope I'm being helpful. Respect bro!
