so if the part of the bone is eaten away and at the end of the process the teeth is perfectly aligned, then why does it need to be contained with a container every night for the rest of a patients life?
I used to have a beautiful smile. People would often compliment me on my teeth. But an ex boyfriend changed all that when he knocked my front tooth out. Then Dentist decided to take out all of my back teeth, so I had no other choice, but to chew on my front teeth which started to chip. Now I look like a crackhead and I get treated like that as well. Once a bubbly, beautiful girl now I’ve become isolated and severely depressed. I no longer go out in public. I don’t go on date. I stopped going to my gym. It’s literally ruined my life.
I’ve had my braces for 5 months now and I thought I was just getting a new bracket. They put 2 bands on my braces also. It’s just day 2, but it’s not too bad. I just have to remember to keep them on. I do RU-vid for work and I have to talk all the time. I have to learn to talk better with them and I will be ok. I will be getting them taken off in 7 more months.
My orthodontist dropped two brackets on me while putting my braces on, she dropped one on my shirt and the other in my mouth, she couldn’t find it and later when we were done I felt it and spat it out
i was extremely anxious to get my braces on and still am to some degree. i have a huge history of anxiety and these little things can really freak me out. but i think this video is really helping me. it’s super nice
I got 6 of them two days ago and the left side hurts like hell and is swollen. In addition, as time passes I feel like I lost „feeling“ on the tooth under the screw. Is it common or do I have to worry?
I saw someone tell cant eat food while this treatment 🤣 i do this treatment some days the first two day i can't eat but now i can eat whatever i want. Even chicken☠️🙌i dont think so everyone can eat but i can🥴🙌

I use the Cresr 3D White Artic Mint mouthwash, it's alcohol free, but reas that it's not good for cleaning clear retainers? I got my braces off yesterday!
People are paying to have work done for good teeth. Dentist is a doctor and they've prescribed you a solution... And people don't wear them? What's the point?? Wear your damn elastics!
My orthodontist had me put class 3 elastics on my upper premolars and lower canines. My upper arch has a rectangle wire but my bottom arch is in a .14 round wire is this normal I’m afraid my teeth are gonna tilt inward.
My braces have made my lower midline go to the left when it used to be in the middle. I have awhile maybe two years to go, I've had my braces on almost 8 months, but I don't understand why this is happening. I've asked my orthodontist why and she said it's part of the process, it makes no sense to me. I guess my teeth have to look worse before they look better, at least that's what I hope.
