I heard something like 50,000 Americans, Men, Women and their families migrated to the USSR, pre WW2, almost on arrival 20,000 or so wanted to comeback to the USA. The Americans turned the land lost and bewildered refugees down (no mercy shown, I wonder why?). Too bad they the US Government didn't take them, it would have been an intelligence bonanza, another thing possibly too some of those who went might have been spying for the US. They were never heard of after WW2, I wonder what became of them?

in 1960s their grand and majestic voices accorded to show the brave and patriotism towards the world. it sounded like that they could integrate all the Russian people. they must've conduced for the Russian economic developments in the past. it was a majestically concerted singing we don't have now.

From an ancient country that bleed on across half of the world, a Nation of poor, Nation of wealthy beyond anyone's dreams. A Nation of unbreakable will and soul. Nation that survived the worst and thrived to conquer and tame land, sea, sky and space. Nation that does not know boundaries nor walls, comes a gift to the world of songs most does not understand, but songs most feel.

That sure looks like the Soviet Union if not at its high - water mark… then close to it . The dresses of the Soviet women are a dead give away as they are beautiful garments, and have been stitched up by Russian women themselves. Fast forward to today where “ instant fashion “ has created massive clothes dumps , essentially, but not exclusively, inshore 3:18 from the coast of Chile. The onion heads on the building’s are a tilt to the Soviet Unions past. No matter how you dice it how could communism outlast Koba. ??. A deeply damaged and disturbed man , but with an acuity and destiny that kept the Soviet project going from humble beginnings when he became general secretary in 1924, and then to a superpower along with the US , at the end of WW2. Maybe he was incorruptible but sure as hell his contemporaries were not. And a similarity of sorts exists in the EU and the US with high ranking politicians on the take from lobbyists. Lo ❤️ 💋 💋 💋

Definitely a bunch of “ strapping lads “ with an almost evangelical mission . “ . The Red Army was a survivor of the Russian Civil War, and definitely a proxy war. So much so that only the sons of peasants were allowed to join its ranks. They were indoctrinated to believe that victory was a given being that they were products of the most massive upheaval in human history. No less than the creation of a working class in Russia where one had not existed before. Such a social upheaval was unimaginable. Enter Comrade Stalin, the great disruptor. The pace of change in the Soviet Union was giddying as by Stalin’s reckoning the USSR was already a hundred years behind. He was a hard taskmaster and the realities were brutal. The food supply should not be taken as a given as that is a game changer. The Red Army were to be the recipients of the vast US canneries under lend lease. The Germans were over extended and condemned Russian peasants to starvation by thieving their livestock. The ultimate outcome of all this suffering was possibly to be the creation of NATO so that such things do not recur. Catch up soon my dear . Lo ❤️ 💋 💋 💋 💋 💋

Not everything the that the USSR did was wrong or bad! Americans went too far in the Bear's den expanding NATO, a big mistake! Frankly those middle countries should be a non-aligned buffer. Let them sort themselves out instead of another market for the apparatus of Uncle Sam's military complex!
