Not EVERY THING INTHE PHILLIPINES is a lie ,those.slums are very true,all that garbage laying around every.where thats.true. the prostatusion thats true the poverty thats true, i lived there for a while,another thing thats true is lots of crime they are very skilled at that, you would have to be there for a while to even begin to notice it its so covered up
I lived in the province it's much cheaper and healthier environment somewhere in Negros Oriental near Cebu where I came from . There's no such perfect places, you'll find bad and good elements wherever you are. I guess just look after yourself well and stay safe. Loved the video. I am down in Bohol and have had much the same experiences. Not at all dangerous here compared to many places I have lived in the USA, with the exception of some very rural areas. I love the food. I love the cost of living. I am married to a Filipina. I really love how men are treated better here than in the West. I also like that the legal system here isn't massively biased against men.
Back to Japan in October. More comfortable with the dating pool there for sure. Pina website was enlightening😂, 8/10 women were looking for paid sex hookups, asking for funds due to economic problems, or talking marriage in first 10 minutes 😂. A bit disappointing. . . it left me feeling negative towards meeting someone here without a motive. Sure there are some nice women in PI but what a f. . .king hassle. Great video presentation today.
@@sasbeo thanks. Dating sites have become real hit and miss. But you'll find that in countries that are economically depressed like the Philippines and Thailand. Not in countries like Japan, Korea, or Singapore. But those foreigners who look for young girls go to the Philippines and Thailand, because they know the poor girls from poor families will settle for security over physical attraction. High risk is from Mindanao girl scam or booty call on RU-vid live or bigo. I was scam with this filipina met girl and I dump her for asing money help get her room fix or help her family and material girl type.
Great advice. Some things to add/my experience - laundry was expensive i found like $10 US not a big thing but surprised. Follow on ticket was great info i didnt even know. I had thought US passport was good for 90 days and visa after that so it shows I'm obvious old school. One thing to add aniut registering your trip with yhe Philippines govt i never did it and didn't know - been 2 X but i did put my itinerary on the US State Department site. Might want to do that anyway in case of problems. Oh yes rememered this too regarding money exchange. You'll see excellent rates in the cities especially Manila. BEWARE they are great at magic tricks double counting. I got scammed around $40 US that way once. They use the great rates to lure suckers like i was.
The video started one way and I almost moved on but then it went another and glad i stayed. You seem honest and genuine. I watched another video duscussing hiw much you need ti live in there and be happy -$1700 US. I think that's reasonable, too. I never lived there but visited twice the last 15 years. It's great, I don't think i could be a true expat but 4 months a year is ideal for me. I'm almost 52 and doing some thinking. I'll subscribe - good work.
@@JJthelonelybullinasia oh it's 6 am there now. I really enjoyed early mornings there I could wake up with no alarm clock having excellent full sleep usually in bed by 10 and up by 5 or so. Good times!
What do you expect, poverty is high so they would do anything to survive. Maybe try Vietnam, Malaysia or Singapore. Those countries are wealthier so all women have better jobs and won’t depend on you. But they might date no more than 10-15 yrs their senior. That’s the trade off.

@@MaxPride10 I don't know. You'll probably need to live in a province. And depends on what kind of amenities you want. It would be hard to live in a major city like in metro Manila or Cebu on that budget.

Something else to consider is there are other places to move to. If I ever got completely sick of the US, Panama would be my first option. When I was there in the military in the late 80s and early 90s, it completely changed after we tossed Noriega out. The women are beautiful and most are more than willing to date an American. I would say 60-75% of the women are in shape and attractive. Sorry, but women in the US seem to have a weight problem. From what I've seen, the country is modernizing quickly but still far less expensive than the US. It was certainly a long time ago, but when $50 would buy a decent dinner in the US, $15 would buy better in Panama. There's a lot of expats there. Don't get hung up on just one place to look at.

Thank you you save me the trip. 1700 Us is around 2100 Canadian I don't make that much. In fact I was very comfortably on 1500 Canadian with myself that I's house it would be a mistake for me to move
@@onknight you can live here on less, but for me I wouldn't be happy. I know there are expats who live in the province on less money, but their lifestyle is very basic. If you were thinking about living here you should visit for a few weeks first to see if it's for you.
