How do you make your focus markings? If you don’t mind me asking. Do you have a shop manual that lets you know the angles vs distances or is it based on caliper measurements.

Hi, sorry to bother you on such old video, i got the 35mm 1.5t samyang lens but i saw in the last video that wasn’t the same lens, mine has 2 tooth and skiny rings instead of one big ring for the focus and another small one for the aperture, will it fit for my lens? Or its just another model
Kinda sad that you dont make more of them, but I get that can can only really make em if you have the lens in person. So Im asking if its possible for the STEP or F3D files to be released, or some other editable format so people can mod them for their own lenses?
I recently got your file for the Helios 44, can´t wait until the print is done! Would be nice to see a housing for the Mir-1B to have a matching wide angle for the Helios!
Your prints are top notch! Maybe add them to Printables so they are easier to find. I've not seen any camera related prints that come close to this! Took me a while to find though :P
OK, I see it is .8M pitch... good. I have 6-8 other Takumar lenses that I want to set up for use on my motion control system. Is there a way to rework this design for other models? I am also concerned that the lens shade I find may not be the same as you found. I am standardized around using 77mm round filters. I wish there were something that would prevent the grub screws from digging into the lense.
Hi there. Hope this thread is not dead. What a nice surprise finding your video. I was on a rabbit hole, trying to find a sun hood for my shinobi, but everything seem overpriced or need an extra 100€ cage on top. Did you manage to test this on a shinobi? Given the prices out there I will gladly pay for your time, you deserve it definitely
