one of the things with me is my faith was shakien and a lot of unanswerf prayers and somethings in the bible stopped making since i felt like God left me i tried praying and reading my bibe and it never helped and a lot of the people also they way they acted

Yep, there is no going back because that would necessitate a loss of dignity and integrity. I think the door slam happens not because we think and scheme about it but because we feel deep down inside that it’s the right thing to do and because there is no other option without compromising our authenticity. It actually seems to go against our nature which is why it hurts like it does. We do it because we must, it’s that simple

Would you consider doing a video on the cognitive functions? I think I understand Ni mostly because I am pretty sure I'm also INFJ and I really relate to it, but it is still a bit vague to me. I find Ti, Fi, Fe, and Se more concrete and easy to identify and understand. However, I find the descriptions of Te, Si, and Ne a little bit confusing and I'm not sure I fully understand. I find your videos extremely relatable and they help me put words to some experiences I've had. I would love your take on all the functions & how to identify them
When people speak of "ppl pleasing" or chameleon abilities in infjs, I call it the ability to speak in a language of others so that you can communicate ur feelings and thoughts in the language others can understand. But there is also an inner need to make ppl happy, I agree. Sometimes, I feel like infjs need others in life as a motivator to exist and yet existing around ppl is making them disappear. It is a paradox that before discovering 16 personalities I couldn't understand about myself, and traditionally guilting myself about it. Thank you for sharing ur thoughts on a matter, it is easy to listen to you for sure.
I am an INFJ-A and am now 70 yrs old. I had never heard of myers briggs until working as a school nurse in the 80's when we were asked to complete myers briggs personality questionnaire etc. It was never explained in detail to us ( the results) and in my working life in the school setting, surprisingly. I was again instructed in my 40s to attend another course as a work requisite. It's only now reading and watching videos like yours that the INFJ-A personality has been researched and explained in greater detail. I now realise why perhaps my youth thoughts varied considerably from my peers, and I have in my lifetime been described as a little weird for always😂 reliable, will say whilst watching a tv show, just watch the show, why do you want to know in depth about this or that. So, thank you for explaining in detail your experiences, I can relate to most of them in life. 😊

Aging in reverse! So true! And the aggression is real. The more I heal and cut off toxic relationships, the more I feel liberated to explore my authentic self. I think before the physical door slam of blocking that person on the phone or social media, there is the real door slam, which is the emotional one. Once the emotional door slam occurs, there is no going back. And this, of course, occurs after many attempts of trying to reconcile and improve the relationship.
Dear Clay, I just checked out your 14 logical fallacies video. Great stuff! I think there's a chance though that you have unwittingly placed a straw-figure as an argument against Christianity. The straw figure is Christianity with a protestant understanding of Sola Scriptura. This straw figure argument is completely circular however as you point out in your video. As a Christian I believe not because the bible but because of the authority Jesus gave to the Church to interpret the words of God both spoken through tradition over 2000 years and those written down in scripture. The bible in itself is good but really only a straw figure of that which is truly the word of God encompassed in the person of Jesus.

Muslims are likely more respectful because they see a chance to try and persuade you to try and join their religion. While christians might be mad because they know its a lost cause theres no way to get someone like you back into their cult anymore. I am STUNNED that you described the exact same sleep issues that I have. I have even had recent bouts of Exploding Head Syndrome (for real). The simultaneous wake/sleep issue made my jaw drop. I wake up and still see things as well! Most recently a bee! There was a bee in my dream, I woke up and it was still there, in my bedroom, flying about two feet away, then faded….
Hello, I quick want to talk real. My grandmother, grandfather, aunt and business partner all had cancer and got healed through Christ, and there are still pastors that carry power, not faith, power. But they are extremely intense. Such as Pastor John Anosike, Ian Cleyton, Nancy Coen.
@@ettiennebotes7832 I’m always confused when Christians claim that cancer healing is a miracle. Cancer heals all on its own! Call me when an amputee has their arm grow back, or something else happens that has no other natural explanation.

Beautifully presented. Thank you as I grapple with my own search for meaning. I'm in a very dark place as at almost 70, I look back on my life and the multitude of challenges I've experienced personally. I also see a lot of darkness when I look at the state of the political climate in the US and beyond, the endless suffering caused by the world economic structure, the endless violence that continues to persist globally in the form of war, as well as the abuse and violence that's so persistent in political, interpersonal and intimate relationships. The obvious implications of climate change cannot be ignored either. On a personal level, I'm single. I used to have a wide circle of friends as well as several close friends who I could share with emotionally. All of my closest friends passed within months of each other 2 years ago. At the same time, I was forced to move more than 500 miles from the place where I'd spent most of my adult life because I could no longer afford to live there. I feel a profound lack of connection with other people despite making a concerted effort to make new friends. As I face more and more health challenges, it becomes harder and harder to do even basic stuff. My best friend is my 13 year old cat that I've had for 3 months. I'm grateful to have an affordable roof over my head, but that's not enough to make up for the absence of interpersonal connections. I don't understand why I incarnated and what I've learned or contributed to the good of the world through my incarnation. It all feels meaningless.

First, Christianity doesn't need YOU. Your ideology seems to accept nothing that doesn't make sense to you, the me, me, me entitlement that entraps everyone who can't accept truth, beyond what they want it to be. Deconstructionists are lazy, immature and cowardly. So you rejected Christianity....so what? Set up your own temple of worship with your diety's picture out in front- yours.

Power dynamics explain a lot of the irrationality in the world, both material and perceived. If you embrace irrational beliefs you can optimise for personal gain, sidestep feelings of guilt, and make life difficult for those motivated to hold you accountable for the consequences of your actions. I think the same holds true in organisations. Irrational beliefs that empower the organisation empower members, especially those with seniority. In a sense, the sacred posturing of overtly irrational beliefs and communal enforcement lends power to the organisation. If you challenge those beliefs, you weaken the reputation of the organisation, weakening the reputation of its members. Collective narcissism.
