Hunting for Shiny Pokémon in the Third Generation games exclusively (and some Gen 2 and probably some gen 5 one day) Check out my twitter for updates! @Gen3Hunter
Nice!!! I've been slowly chipping away at this hunt for a few years now. Really nice to see another video of hatched Magby - there’s so few online! Thanks for uploading
That's only really for the hoenn games, emerald's rng seeding is broken and for ruby and sapphire, you'll always get the same rng seed if you have a dead battery. For fr/lg the seed is based on the number of frames between when you launch/soft-reset and when you press start/a to go into the main menu from the title screen (as well as which buttons you press before the main menu opens)
Shiny metagross is so fucking sick holy shit. I caught mine in BW2, caught in a luxury ball at full health at the moment I didnt realise the incredible luck w that catchrate. Im a little late but fuck man congratulations. Im at 30 resets for my first shadow pokemon and so far i dont know if im heterosexual enough to achieve a shiny in these games. Anyway xo
for people who are watching now, u can get to navel rock and get lugia and ho-oh by using a glitch called the A.C.E glitch. If you want to know how to do this glitch just search it on youtube
I am married but I have atotal crush on u uwu just you n me some nice wine and shiny hunting all night jk unless … i love tropius and im a hoe for hoenn
Congratulations! I agree, Shiny Magby should have followed the Charizard line - not a fan of the pink fire types… but hey, you completed the trio! So cool! 🤗🤗🤗
Does the shiny still appears if i use fast foward in the egg hunt on Emerald? Im trying to hatch a Feebas shiny and i only play on MyBoy emulator in my phone. 🤔
The way you'd do it on only official hardware is multiple Gamecube + GBA Player setups + a wireless controller with the controller adapter on every system set to the same frequency. He's said he hunted with multiple Gamecubes before, so it's probably that. AFAIK the only other options would be modded GBA's/DS's with input redirection from a wireless controller, or the already considered option of a multi-emulator setup.
Congrats! I didn't personally get my target (chimecho) for egg month this year but it's been super cool to see what everyone else got - especially for long hunts like this!
