My Shiny Hunting Setup!! How I Shiny Hunt on 11 Total Systems!! 

Hey everyone! I realize that I didnt do a great job talking about exactly HOW I obtained these special controller modded DS's. I sent my Capture Cards to @Gonjona2 (on twitter) however I don't believe he is doing this mod anymore, or at least right now at the time of me writing this. Something similar you can try is using two pieces of tech from insidegadgets, one of which involvers soldering the controller mod onto your DS/GBA/GBA SP (shop.insidegadgets.com/product/gba-wireless-rx/) and the other is a proprietary GBC cart that controls the mod (shop.insidegadgets.com/product/wireless-gameboy-controller/) Justin showcases this mod in his shiny hunting showcase, video pinged at 0:08 into this one!

This is genuinely such a cool setup, I have been hunting in Gen 4 and above since like 2013. Coming up on 10 years for when I first started hunting. Yet I never really hunted in the Gen 3 games. Even though I grew up playing RSE and FRLG I just never hunted in them mainly because I was a little bit scared of the weird RNG with dead batteries. But I recently just bought a region modded spice orange GameCube with the spice orange game boy player and the startup disk and everything. And I also just bought a new game boy advance SP to go along with all of my DS lites I've collected throughout the years. I'm going to start hunting in emerald very soon going for a random encounter trapinch in the desert. Found your channel from your quilava hunt in coliseum, which I will also be doing as the cyndaquil line is my favorite starter line for nostalgia reasons. Your videos have been a genuine inspiration for me to go back and hunt in this generation where I never really gave it a chance even though the main way that I've enjoyed pokémon games for a very long time is by shiny hunting in them. I'm totally jealous of you set up bro, I never really had a good chance to pick up a capture card DS, so I might grab a regular capture card and record some Gen 3 hunting through the game boy player with a AV to HDMI converter. Sorry for the super long comment just wanted to tell you that your setup is really cool, I really enjoy your videos, I really hope to see more great stuff from you, and thanks for giving me that push to really start hunting in third gen. ;)

The GB operator is absolutely insane! Wish they would make a model for the DS. I’ve had mine since august of 2022, didn’t know you had one! Looks like they’re becoming more popular.

That's indeed the 8BitDo Pro2. Similar to the 8BitDo SN30Pro+, but with a couple improvements like those back buttons and app compatibility to customize the controller. The 8BitDo SN30Pro has all the necessary buttons/sticks to play Switch games but is more portable as it forgoes the addition of grips. I have the SN30Pro+ and Pro2 and they're both fantastic

Hey! Big fan of the content, I do have a question. I have a similiar setup to you. 4 gamecubes going to a Porta 4x1 mutliviewer to an hdmi card, but I do not know how to seperate the screens on the streamlabs so I can put them through an overlay. Is there a step I am missing? They are just all coming in as one source instead of individually.

What capture card do you use connecting the multi viewer to your PC? Does it need to be good quality because you're combining the 4 game cubes? Or is any cheap capture card fine?

Curious, when you’re setting up a multi-hunt, do you back up the save and just copy it over to the other cartridges? Or do you personally set up every hunt on every cartridge?

Hey loved the video im looking to stream with just two switches i already have a capture card so i clicked the link in your bio for the multi viewer and theres an option to get a multiviewer from the same brand with only 2 hdmi inputs for way cheaper but it says it only supports one signal and i was wondering if that means it wouldnt work for capturing both switches at the same time

That GBOperater is exactly what I need! My copy of FireRed completely died in 2020 and I'm paranoid about my other GBA games. Plus, my Silver cartridge died and lost a shiny Pidgeot. RIP Glitter and the FireRed team.

I wish there was a cheaper alternative than the wave bird and receivers. like ex a cable wire that you put one controller into and it goes into multiple console ports

Is there any way you know of, to get a controller signal sent (like your wavebird controller) but using a computer instead (through a usb port)? Been looking into programming a python bot to run using original hardware but Im not sure where to start. All the controllers in your video have manual inputs.

i also have a gb operator, amazing little device. is there a specific website you go to for the sav files? ive managed to find some with rare event pokes from gen 3. wondering what youve been able to find.

I wish I could get 4 DS's (does not even have to be 3DS) modded to run on one controller. As I realize I have Pokemon Black and White + Black2 and White2. It would be awesome to hunt in all 4 games at the same time. But after searching the web this is prob the closest thing I can find and my bird brain cant even handle it haha. Do you know anyone that can do such a mod? Or a place where such modded systems are sold? I don't want it for streaming either, so a capture card is not needed in my case. What I personally always do is shiny hunt while I watch movies/ tv shows and just want to upgrade my hunting while still being able to watch tv.
