What's immensely stupid (not the video) is that The Chargers new facility, is a stones throw from SoFi (which, we all know is the Rams house) and the Rams, will be practicing way the hell out there.
I sure hope they are going to even out all those put of place uneven panels. They look so half-assed in current off set positions. 2 billion dollars for the shoddy work so far. Law suit coming. Opening isn't for 7 more weeks so I will wait until then to add any other thoughts. But for now definitely not appealing to the eyes from the ground up.
@@Scott-vk4jv I’m sure it will, but proximity to the stadium, airport and beach makes the Chargers facility the clear winner. Plus the weather in summer is far hotter in the valley.
Their old training facility was way bigger than this and had more amenities. I couldn't imagine a college player who gets drafted here will be happy walking into a training center thats a quarter of the size of the one they had in college.
Really? Their previous facility was four times larger? That would seem overkill, considering that this facility isn't small. This is a state of the art facility, too.
@@mrxman581 Their previous facility was small converted office buildings. Sure maybe it was larger in terms of square footage and total rooms but there is only so much you can do with a bunch of small rooms anyways. It's not about how many rooms you have but how well you can optimize the space you need for their typical football operations. This new facility addresses pretty much every single compliant made by the players in the team report cards we've seen in past years. 1) They now have a much improved locker room with more space for each player. 2) Their new gym is much larger and has way more open space than the previous which makes it much easier for the players to get the most out of Ben Herbert's workouts. You could see how cramped they were in the previous gym room. 3) They now have an open cafeteria with top class food being served everyday 4) They have way more player recovery and therapy options( dedicated rooms for Hot tubs, cold tubs, pool outside, sauna, massage tables, etc..) 5) A few big open hangout areas and media rooms for players which was lacking in the previous space.
@@ES-hr6vg No. We are all internet warriors. It's our duty to give our opinions. Our opinions are best when we've never seen the place, never will see the place, have never been a football player, and don't live anywhere near the west coast.
For a team that cried poverty and wouldn’t build a stadium in San Diego they sure have money to pay for their new training facility, give Justin Herbert huge extension, pay the coach huge salary and gets to play in the Rams house for free. They could have easily built a stadium in San Diego for their fans, but no they decided to pay 650million relocation fee and play in L.A. were they are at the bottom when compared to the other teams here. 1.Lakers 2.Dodgers 3.Kings 4.USC 5.Rams 6. UCLA 7.LAFC 8.Galaxy 9.Clippers 10.Chargers
LA is a much larger market, so they probably get better telecast revenue. Their games have been well attended, too. Getting to play in the most beautiful and expensive stadium in the USA without having to pay for it is a huge benefit not available in SD.
San Diego is 2 County's south. Not very far. The Lakers training facility is around the corner literally. Stu Lance commutes to Los Angeles to call 40-plus home games for the Lakers.
I heard on a video on Instagram from the owner of the SPFM that they are planning on building a new state of the art restaurant at its old location. Can you provide video to confirm?
My uncle works here hes been wporking roof all his life he appilied for a roofing company For supervisor i cant belive he makes $135 an hour by holding on to a clipboard
Why do you hate parking structure garages in California so much, so you can park more cars?????? It's so strange to see places like this everywhere, where rich people's cars are left outside in the sun all day LMAO
Looks like the perfect place with enough space to process all the illegal immigrants coming into that sanctuary state. Get them new clothes, cell phones, and put them out on the streets.
if the track is complete and ready to bring back racing to this track, they should honor Greg Moore name on the Garage or Paddock Suite. The Greg Moore Garage or The Greg Moore Paddock
Any idea as to why the retail area is still so empty? It’s been a couple years now and there are really only a couple places open (the theater and Iconix). Are they just having trouble getting businesses to rent out the space? It’s strange.
No doubt LA will be ready for the 2028 Olympics. Looks like just the airport and public transportation routes and people mover projects need to be completed by 2028.
It still kind of feels to me like the construction completion of some of these Hollywood Park businesses & residences are dragging as they approach the finish line. Maybe purposely to make it a bigger deal when all the Fall sports seasons start and the weather is cooler. That whole area is going to have a completely different vibe in five months or so during game days when all the venues are open and we're in the middle of the college football, NFL, and NBA seasons. It's going to be a lot of fun for you people in SoCal.
It took an Olympics to modernize LAX. The speed and pace at which Americans complete construction is so much slower as a first world country compared to China.
lol this is such a joke. I remember believing LA/California would care about public transportation, but then I gave up and moved away. How's that high speed rail coming?
Getting there. Glad these new venues are being added to 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games ! PS - All the transit and other work in progress should be completed by then.
