Its transition from electric to petrol is seamless and much smoother drivetrain than the 2024 Lexus RX hydrid that I have tested. I drove in B mode and it is lovely.
As an owner for 4 months now - I have one annoying thing I noticed in mine which I need to go back to the dealership to ask about - the gear shifter moves up and down without pushing the button, which can be dangerous especially if I accidentally go from D to N with a knock. Loving the car though :D Not as frugal as the RAV-4 as tested, and I have been using the eco mode.
Prefer the old f40. Looks more aggressive, higher quality materials. Prefer the interior to the old one too. The I-drive rotary controller is gone?! One of my favourite things in a bmw. Miss the angel LEDs
Toyota does not care about the customers. I bought a 2024 Lexus Luxury Edition and like many other owners received only one complete fob and one with just a mechanical key and no fob. This unacceptable practice and been going on since 2020 and many have yet to receive a fob. They have many excuses but the pandemic is long over so chip shortage is just another worthless excuse. Please go to the Lexus forum and see for yourself. I bought a Honda and lo and behold I received two fobs and much better customer service. When my four-year warranty is up I will probably buy an Acura top trim level. Toyota has gotten arrogant and complacent with their customers and this is more proof if you ever needed any. IMHO
The bigger question isn't about which variant to get. It's whether they can fix the parts availability issues that have some owners waiting months and months for repairs. I'd love to buy this car, but it feels like a gamble given the brand is so new here and not yet as supported as others. Sucks because the competition's cars themselves don't come close.
My first car didn't even have a radio, lol . Compared to what most people in their 60's have experienced driving, this car is top shelf. The bonus is its thousands of dollars cheaper than the ' big brands' who've been ripping us off for years.
Bought a second hand 2014 Octavia wagon think it’s called “Elegance”… 78k on the dial for a 10 year old car… 1 owner never owned a Skoda before I was after a Passat wagon but couldn’t find a low klm one within budget… I’m completely sold… love this car so much! When I trade for a new car I’m going Skoda for sure…
Yes the Ferrari is better but this one a lot of people can actually afford And it’s really very awesome Yes they should also offer the c7 alongside if people want it though I drone the c8 then the c7 at a dealer and I liked both The c7 seems so normal compared to the c8 in that the C8 is complex to operate compared to the c7 but I do love the C8
the 3rd row should also have 3 individual removeble seats!! Makes the car more flexable. Individual seats are lighter to carry in and out instead of the heave 2seat setup.
We are 12 months into owning our Octavia Style wagon and we love it for all the reasons Curt mentioned. I record its fuel economy at every fill and we have averaged 6 litres per 100km. One awesome feature Curt forgot to mention is the matrix LED headlights - they work super well out here on country roads.
Can this guy really justify a VW with a drive away price of $140,000. We simply have motoring wangers that simply have no idea about what people want or indeed need
Looks great and I’m sure reliability and build quality will be up there, but I am disappointed Toyota haven’t worked hard enough on a hybrid diesel! This means there will be a lot more disappointment when the new hilux is unveiled next year!! From a very disappointed Toyota byer
