We are Clay and Maria, RV adventurers from Alabama/Texas, with a love of nature, new experiences, and finding Our Road Less Traveled. We travel in a RAM 3500 with an East to West Ahara 365RL 5th Wheel RV. We love National Parks, finding hidden gems and have a spontaneous streak that will take us anywhere from Niagara to the Keys or California to NYC! We love to go, and are most at peace on the open road, walking a backwoods trail, or taking in a majestic waterfall or mountainside.
We took our journey full time in August of 2022 and to us, this is the American Dream. Our Road Less Traveled is simply the road that most don't take. Living the 9-5, four bedroom house, paycheck to paycheck is what most people do. We decided it was time to take things a different direction. Now we have the freedom to work from the road, see family and friends at leisure, and explore some amazing places in this beautiful country along the way. We find that the journey is often better than the destination.
You will not get continuity on the thermostat or the heater core. The circuits need to be closed to get continuity unless the thermostat reaches a certain temperature in that freezer. The circuit will not close. I replaced the motherboard the thermostat. The only thing I have not replaced yet, and I am in the process of doing so is the heater core around the actual coils?
@@DavidSuarez-d8f according to lippert the thermostor is a normally closed circuit. It opens when the the temp drops meaning the coils have frozen. That trips the defrost heater coils and turns them on. That circuit is also normally closed. The heater coils are the brass tubes under the cooling coils. All the items are listed in the last few minutes of the video for reference. You can also follow along with the lippert tech as we work through it.
We have the same issue with our Everhill. Our coach is a 2023 E. West 378BH - OK AHARA THE REFRIGERATOR WORKED PERFECT IN 2023 WHEN WE TOOK DELIVERY OF THE COACH THIS YEAR IN 2024. IT HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT A PAIN IN THE ASS. I HAVE PRETTY MUCH REPLACED ELECTRONICALLY ON THE REFRIGERATOR WITH THE ASSISTANCE OF LIPPARD. I DO HAVE TO SAY THEY HAVE A WONDERFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. BUT WE STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM IT FREEZES UP JUST LIKE YOURS EVERY THREE WEEKS ROUGHLY. I HAVE TO GO AND TAKE THAT BACK PANEL OFF AND THAW EVERYTHING OUT THEN IT WORKS PERFECT AGAIN FOR ANOTHER THREE WEEKS. THE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT’S GOING ON ALL THEY KEEP SAYING IS THAT EVENTUALLY I WILL JUST HAVE TO GET ANOTHER REFRIGERATOR. WHICH IS JUST RIDICULOUS CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THAT WE JUST PAID FOR THIS COACH A YEAR AGO
LanSky, John from coddiewomple travels suggested it. I bought one for me and one for our son. We have both had great results. I have always been awful at sharpening knives. I get the technical side, but the application seems to allude me. This thing works great for cheap knives.
We had our IS added in May 2024. Drove 1100 miles where we had an appointment to get some work done on F/W. The tech raised the RV and as he did luckily on the side where he was working he found that our right front wheel was loose. The Caster nut was two full rounds shy of snug. The bolts on that tire where cross threated too. Immediately contacted Morryde and they were apologetic and covered any expense. The tech went to the opposite side and checked it and one other wheel was loose too. Like the ride of the IS but boy oh boy this could have been a awful experience if not for our annual inspection we had done.
Glad they found it. We have heard a few stories like this. All of them end with MORryde stepping up and covering everything. Thanks for watching and the comment.
Not sure if you ever got your answer, but the during World War II, the Japanese-American Family that owned it was evicted by the city due to the anti-Japanese sentiment at the time., A Chinese-American family then operated it until the 1960's. In 1984 it was rededicated as the Japanese Tea Garden.
Did you take the wheel weights off of your wheels? I have watched a few videos and some say keep wheel weights on and others say you do not need wheel weights?

A couple of years ago they were begging people to establish residencey so they could get more federal tax money. Glad i moved out. The first snow storm chased me out. I dont see how this will effect people that live on social security, lit of us dont pay fed. Tax anymore.

We have a class C. My wife is responsible for cleaning up the inside. Making sure everything is secured. She will then refill my coffee and fill the console with snacks. I am responsible for unhooking everything and making sure all basements are locked and do the walk around. We also pull a car dolly. So after we are done with our responsibility’s she helps me load the car on dolly and strap car down. Then we are off.
we'll take it. Thanks for the sub. First year was a wake up call, second year has been much better. Matter of fact, we are releasing a video tomorrow on how we cut food cost.
I've done I.T. and Security System work for 30 years. I trained to be an Electrician but hated working outside in harsh weather. I plan to get my CDL A & B and get my RV tech cert but was wondering how else I can make money next year when I hit the road. I'll be 46 maybe 47 by then and glad to see another option for work. I subscribed and bookmarked. So many great RV/camper/trailer videos on RU-vid but yours is worth the 1st bookmark/favorite.
Thank you so much for the kind words. I can tell you that being a mobile RV tech would be the way to go. Everyone we have called for the past year is book months out. Major manufactures are even using them to help cover the dealers that are booked out. We were in CO and had to go all the way to Indiana to get work done. All the dealers and RV techs would booked out.
We gained about an inch in clearance. Nose ended up being about 5" high. We could have used a ball with a shorter shank. We traded the Tandara for an Ahara and install the MORryde IS, We are 100% level now, using the same hitch and ball. The IS install adjusted out the nose high issue and is a much better ride when paired with the Gen-Y. It was great just with the Gen-Y, but adding the IS was another massive gain in smoothness. I will also say the disc brakes are well worth the investment.
@@OurRoadLessTraveledthanks! This is the I've thing that scares me about the Gen-Y. I have very little clearance on my shed for, so being high is not good, and may possibly not work...
My Name is Dannis Jackson I watched your video on how we make money to fund our RV travels part 1 and I am definitely interested in researching on how I can get started and what I would initially need can you assist me

We haven't took delivery of our Alliance Paradigm yet, but our regional sales person has been great. I've reached out to him a couple of times and he always answers the phone.
Alliance is a great brand and we would have bout one if we they had the floor plan we were looking for. Customer service is second to none. Hands down one of the best out there.
@@OurRoadLessTraveled Well, we did our walk through with the Tech, which was a joke. The tech or sales rep, whatever you call him, knew absolutely nothing about the 2025 Alliance. The couch recliner was broken and different that what is shown in the video show casing the new 380MP. I called my West Coast Rep Max, and he was literally no help. His response, was OH well. I asked the Tech to show me where to open the gate valves manually if the electric valves don't work, he said there isn't. I was like, you have got to be kidding me!!!. My West Coast Rep Max, said there is and there is a video showing. I have yet to find the video, but I will keep searching.
@@kevinwalls5857 I would call Alliance. That is not indicative of their product. Joe would be horrified to hear this. www.alliancerv.com/employees/joe-mehl

Thank you very much. all the informaiton you need to apply is at the send of the second video. Reach out if you cant find it. its around the 13:20 mark
I am highly interested. Kindly provide me with the company information. I have experience in a similar role of selling advertisements in the past, and I envision myself excelling in this capacity once more.
I am retired and looking to rv full time. This would interest me greatly. I have a small side Business selling Amsoil and combined with this would be a great way to meet a lot of people and give them two great products. Jesse
I am 70 years young and want to be a full time RVr. My social security is not enough to live on. I love meeting new people and confident I would be a match for this. Please send me more info.
Just had this issue this morning, rode my 3.0 last night, woke up this morning put the key in and no bueno! Called Lectric right away and they have a new display on the way to me.

we put over 9k miles on ours the first 6 months, coast to coast. Workmanship and materials are great. We did have a few things break due to roads though. East to West fixed them all and none of them were major. Small things like the bathroom pocket door came off, or they had t put extra magnets on the drawers to keep them closed. We have not had anything fail or not work. We just installed IS to mitigate the bad roads.
