TWANGnBANG- it means exactly what you think it means (if you think it means bows and guns and other cool stuff).
I am an enthusiast, not an expert, though I am a very well-armed, research-minded enthusiast. I have fun shooting stuff, but I always do it with a purpose of learning how things work. As a result, most of my videos are equal parts "redneck" and "science."
Also, keep in mind that I'm not Consumer Reports, and I'm not the Bureau of Consumer Protection. I'm just a guy who likes to share what I like about bows, guns, and other cool stuff.
If you have a product you want to send me for review or just have an idea for a video, feel free to email me at twangnbang@twangnbang.net.
My G43x MOS is everything. It has replaced my G26 for EDC. IMO, the G26 is the king of carry guns. However, the G43X MOS has now moved into that position. The G43x MOS should have been the G26.
i think this is the luckist thing that can happen when you have to defend yourself. the threat was stopped, but you didnt have to shoot. you walked away, no trial against you and you dont have to live with that.
I just bought an Obsidian 45 for the ability to use it on 9mm sub guns subsonic 300 blk and 45 acp. I hope I didnt make the wrong choice by not just getting an Obsidian 9.
I’ve always had trouble deciding between the obsidian 45 and the octane 45 HD. The acting seemed to be gold standard for years, but now it seems to be almost unanimously that the obsidian is better. The problem is I really like the plain straight tube look of the octane!
Never used a sight tool. Put sights on many Glocks(10-20). Used a small punch hammer with rubber end. Never messed up 1 sight. Just marked center before I took off and is easy to find when new one comes on. A tad of lube on the channel before re-installation. All have been tritium sights. I have never had one shift or break. If you pay that much for a sight pusher, I have something to sale you!! Just have to be patient and go slow.
I got mine in the late 80s. some time you got to look at how it made. chiappa little badger is made good. and it a surivial 22 lr to.and it single shot.
I really need some opinions on this... I was planning to buy an 18" White Oak 1:7 barrel (bc the intermediate length shoots amazingly soft) but I saw Wilson now has a 16" 1:8 barrel ALSO with an intermediate gas system! So shorter, lighter but both intermediate. 2 big factors to consider...well 3... 1. Twist rate: I plan on shooting heavier ammo so can the 1:8 handle 77gr (I have been told yes but...) 2. WEIGHT: The Wilson is 11-12oz lighter than the WOA barrel. That is substantial!! 3. Accuracy: If the WOA will simply shoot that much better I will go with it, but if the Wilson is essentially equal, it's a really tough call. Thoughts??
If you make a crossbow guide you could refer them to that rather than explaining things every video on crossbows. You may do this already but I like thinking with people

Why does Magpul "hate this trick" exactly? It is 1. common sense and 2, included in the Magpul instruction manuals for every one of the products that have M-LOK... It's also demonstrated in a lot of the official magpul videos on youtube. So far, the only time I have heard of problems with the T nut or M-LOK in general was when someone was using a 3rd party nut that had poor tolerances for compatibility.
