Lifelong Warhammer fan Bricky and grimdark greenhorn Dkdiamantes delve into the incredibly vast ocean that is Warhammer 40000 lore. From superhuman space warriors to depraved cultists and green-skinned Mad Max rejects, not even the most ridiculous aspects of this setting are off the table for these two mad men.
48:35 I have to disagree here. The legs also being out there is what made the Dreadknight into a baby carrier and more ridicilous than the nundam. Paragon War Suit works far better than that. 48:50 Ah, good. Kirioth realized his mistake.
Of course Bricky's main complaint about the Nundom is that it hides the feet. And how the pipe organ missile launcher works doesn't seem all that illogical, it's a pneumatic launch VLS battery where the blasts of air also sound the pipes.
40:24 Its not what you guys may think. How they spelled it B A K K A is actually a polish word. It means "Grandma". By great grandmother was known to me as Bakka. So, please don't fun of the word. Its not Japanese.
I get flummoxed when they talk about audible being a good deal because books are 20USD. In the UK audible and physical books are basically the same price, even if you get an annual subscription it's only a few quid cheaper than waterstones, and tesco sold copies of game of thrones for £3.50 back when the show was popular
There's a legendary piece of film from the 1930s showing a tank built by J. Walter Christie doing a jump off a ramp. The Khan would absolutely be a vehicle like that, only with way more guns and probably bladed bull-bars on the front.
It was either in Devastation of Baal or Dante, but I love the horror of the part where the story explains that The Tyranids of Leviathan were carving a path directly for Baal because of a specific hatred of the Blood Angels, and because it wanted the “Red Prey’s” biomass, since they had pushed it back on several worlds. The fact that the Tyranids aren’t just hungry for survivals sake, but can hold grudges and absolutely hate specific groups or people has always made them more terrifying in my opinion
Given all the death, cemetery, and bone imagery, I think that the ghoul stars might literally be a cemetery. Given that a tomb world is Stationed there, the necrons likely settled there before it turned all weird so... What if the ghoul stars are the resting place of that one cthan that died? It's energy body decomposing would lead to some weird side effects
I think THATS the place where Llandagor got mulched by the necrons and as it died (Well I think the being that is Llandagor died, the ego to never rise again but the energy of it turned into flayer virus. In Twice dead King it is decribed as The Longing Disease. LLandagor was the C'tan seemingly burdened with it too)
Oh and to comment of dk hearing loss comment for the holy nundam. She must also have a lot of burnt hair and vision loss even if she does have cold launch system with those shoulder mounted missile launchers
I’m not neck deep in the lore, but wouldn’t it be pretty cool to be a space wolf? The stories and feasting and camaraderie. They party too, and in a way that isn’t just so continuous that you’ll become numb to it. and you’re less likely to be pegged by a demon.
Skaven are basically comedy Nazis.... Not a joke. Also yeh skaven originate from humans that were transformed into the great horned rats image, him being a minor chaos God who represents of the decay of civilisation.
There is a documentary that talks abaut the possibly financial stress, basically the pilot and his family will loose their house, cars, properties etc etc based on financial records that someone, well, most probably find them in not a legal way, the documentary didn’t say it directly but it leave it in the context of the situation
This entire saga would make for an astounding comedy, just the ridiculous clashing of extreme xenophobic factions forced to fight with each other and all the Marines/Inquisitors going full autism screeching at the suggestion of killing Girlyman is hysterical

Ok I do like the idea of Perturabo being called a “daemon Prince” but is actually a primarch who infected themself with the obliterator virus and has absorbed technology he has created, some quite possibly being daemon engines, that keep him alive but also push the strength of his armor. I can easily picture this version of Perturabo making short work of an imperial knight, not just in the strength of his armor and hammer, but also in his guns and built in artillery targeting systems! I’ve heard he’s recently gotten into an uneasy partnership with Vashtorr the Arkifane, which in all honesty is the perfect daemon for Perty to work with. I feel it in my soul that these two might be a big reason Tyranids might become severely weakened as a whole in the future because the obliterator virus has proven to be able to infect 1 hive ship that the iron warriors have turned into a Titan carrier. If they make enough obliterator virus to infect an entire planet at the press of a button, all they need is to bait a tyranid hive fleet to consume that planet and infect them when their infestation has reached a certain point. Vashtorr’s power over technology may quite possibly manipulate the infected nids on the cellular level once they’ve become more technologically transformed, opening up ideas to make new demon engines and research into the shadow in the warp for Vashtorr to better dominate the warp in his favor over the 4 gods!
It wouldn’t surprise me if they did the nundums like escaflowne where your foot is right at the knee and you have like a pedal that moves the leg when you walk
