This channel reflects some of my hobbies, interests, and adventures. The main focus is multirotor flying.
You will mostly find videos about things and people going up into the air in one way or another. I am also fascinated by technology in general, so occasional videos about new or exciting technology might also appear.
Some of the content might be seen as controversial, for different reasons. You have been warned. :)
I just got a warning from RU-vid regarding the language in my previous comment. Perhaps RU-vid should be more concerned about allowing such a dumbass video to be posted on their site. All it does is encourage other dumbasses to do the same. Thanks alot!
What a f__king idiot. It's crap lime this that's the reason I have to be registered and have remote ID to fly my fixed-wing foamy in my own yard! Dumbass! The guy should be locked up for this stunt!
It would have been better to just full send it downwards, return to home takes much longer to decend, unlike just holding down on the left joystick. Then active rth when you 500 or so feet
I don't know where this is, but anywhere here in the States, it's illegal to fly a drone over 400 feet AGL. If this is in the States, it should be reported to the FAA.
Freaking idiot. Stupid crap like that should be illegal…. Oh wait it is…. Well hell lock this jerk up. Thanks for Fing up or sky with your stupid crap. RU-vid please ban this person.
when you're stuck at such a ridiculous height, spiral descent is needed to get it back down in a reasonable time, however such a dangerous stunt flying your quad so high, a severe regulation breach and a severe danger to air traffic, stunts like this are causing more and more regulation for responsible pilots. I did see the explanation in the read more tab, and you realise how irresponsible you were, you were very lucky this time.
i thinks this is one of these moments where we want floor the gas peddle. In this case going as high as possibly acheivable. i was there for the ride. Thanks.
Great Ending to otherwise tragic event...and never recovered. Maybe not not 100% - A quick view of Flight Radar24 would be a wise app to make sure sky is clear. Good looking unit for sure. I realize Smith's concern - but a 1lb drone is unlikely taking down a 172. I restore WWII crashed aircraft - creating all new skins and landing gear doors from scratch. Sometimes two years everyday till repainted. Cheers,,,wOw, seven years ago. I met a guy here from Russia maybe twenty years ago with his self built Hex hauling full size 35mm camera doing videos of Russian architecture, was so detail.. Need to dig through history to find him again.
It was a riveting video. My first thought was air traffic when you are up that high. I have always had an interest in all things that fly. Model rockets that go 1000 to 2000 feet. I seldom got back so when I got one with a camera on it (110 film camera) I used a streamer instead of the parachute. I got it back 5 times and even though it still had exposures left I developed it. The pictures sucked. The age we live in.
I take it drones have finally overcame the abysmal battery times? Last time I used one, the battery was "play 7 minutes, charge 2 hours" I was like what the fu
i bought a dji mini se the otherday and broke it first crash and i return it and since its user error their charging me for it and the replacement and i thought that was bad.... i abt had a heart attack watching this
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High Drone. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Everyone is suddenly a beacon of morality and safety. Chill out keyboard warriors. I know it was dumb. He knows it was dumb. Get off your soap boxes. The same people bitching about safety here probably text and drive daily which is far more likely to cause a fatality on a day to day basis. Stop hating.
you seem like a paragon of society yourself. What are you here promoting, bitching and moaning about bitching and moaning? So helpful, you're a cut above the rest.
When you realized that the drone is drifting away with the wind, you initiated return to home, which made the drone go against the wind and drain battery even more. In such situation I guess it would be better to let if fly with the wind a litter but further but save battery for safe landing, even in some remote territory.
