I was doing some trimming tests on my hexacopter, and when looking through the footage afterwards, I suddenly noticed this surprised deer family in my neighbor's garden. :)
Some bright LEDs on it to give it some "eyes" and the deer will never, ever, set hoof in your yard... home of the evil flying thing that might eat them. Maybe some fangs dripping blood too.
Fireman Frach They are actually fairly domesticated. Sometimes they sleep in our garden, and when we get outside they wake up and look at us like "what are *you* doing here?".
Shame you didn't have some fpv downlink running at the time; that's why I always run the camera even when I'm doing line of sight. Well that, and to document crashes :P
Just out of curiosity. I just watched the video before this involving the F550's high altitude crash. Is this the same F550 involved in the crash, all fixed up, or is this an entirely new airframe?
+NJ Sullyalex This is the very same F550, but it's filmed before the crash. However, the crashed F550 was repaired after the crash, and has performed many successful flights since then.
+Stefan Ekstam Cool! Just an idea if you want a new gimbal, the Walkera G-2D is a really good gimbal that you can get for $70 to replace your broken Zenmuse. It's not perfect, but it's stable and pitch control works well with NAZA. I use it on my DJI Phantom.
