I like to spend my time outdoors doing a range of different things. Always trying to upskill myself in something new. Archery, shooting, fishing, hunting, foraging, anything outdoors.
Bad Stepenitz...My old landlord came from there. No wonder the Germans felt very deeply sad when they lost this magnificent territory. Even Bavarian alps couldn't compete with Polish autumn forrest.
i have 2 crosman 177 and 22 break action nitro piston air rifles same engine lots of similarities except caliper of course 1 never mounted those shitty scopes they came with i bought 2 scorpion optics rimfire model 3-9x40 dont waste your time with those crappy centre point scopes they are worth about 10.00
Yooo is that a lefty??? I've been looking through budget compounds to switch over from recurve and didn't realise this came as a left handed. Don't suppose you have any experience with the Topoint T1 or Trigon? Might be weighing those up against this
Yep it's a lefty! Hard to come by here too. Basically any left hand bow I have to special order. Unfortunately I don't have any experience with those item 😔
A sight is a great swap out. That would be my fist upgrade as well then a drop away rest of some kind. But otherwise shooting 30 yards or so with the kit stuff is still good enough.
The bow is amazing value! I still have mine and shoot it as much as possible. What sort of arrows and release are you using? I'm not sure how experienced you are but it will take a bit of tuning and sighting in get get it shooting perfect. But that's the same with most bows.
broadheads are really tricky because they destroy just about everything. I haven't tested anything yet either. But it's certainly something I need to look into.
I cant beleive u didnt modify this thing like at all.i just put trophy ridge drive slide singlepin sight an few limb savers an this is by far the nicest bow i ever had
If i could get out hunting with it I would have bought it bare bow and ordered all custom accessories for it. Starting with the sight and rest. It shoots great! I have a couple of older high end PSE bows back in Australia that I used to shoot all the time with good quality gear on them but and this one holds up fairly well at about 30-40m with the kit. Outside of that you really do want those upgrades.
Love this bow but when u buy it throw the sights in the trash the whisker bisquet is OK but sights blow big ones if got a single pin drive slide by trophy ridge an wow what a bow
I 100% agree with you the sights are good while you're learning but after you get the hang of things you really want to upgrade. If hunter was legal here in Poland I would have upgraded it straight away. For now I'm just shooting it as a hobby bow as something to do in my spare time. Good choice of sight you chose though!
Well, that's interesting - your tent has the outer layer rolling up, but all those Soloists I've seen online so far have it rolling to the side. Where did you buy yours? Nice vid btw! :)
I bought mine at militaria.pl here in Poland. I have the newer version (apparently) The older one is the one you are probably seeing a lot. I thought i was getting that version as well...
@@ProcrastinatingWoodsman airgun depot. Actually purchased like five new air rifles and pcps within a couple weeks. I purchased from pyramyd air and agd. No problems so far. The thing is, they always send me rebates and coupons and percentage off deals, so what I do is make a handful of airgun purchases when they have the awsome sales. I then modify them to my liking for plinkin, small game, etc. my collection consists of a texan ss cf in 457 with hawke scope and flashlight/laser mounted also infared night vision camera on the thing. An aea element in .25, diana storm rider gen 2, gamo viper express shotgun, crosman np in .22, and tuesday will end up with this one in your video in .177 no scope option.
@@ProcrastinatingWoodsman Im going to be honest, Ive only tested the .25 aea and the 457 . The others were just a quik dry fire. Although I plan to take them on a outing this week on some white tail while I salmon fish in the high north western mountains
There is an older model with tunnels for the poles and a newer with hooks - sometimes the sellers use the picture of the old model. I'm 188cm and I sleep comfortably, but lying diagonally. You can pack it with the outer layer attached and quickly set it up in a rain without getting the inner part wet.
Perfect explanation! I've yet to take it out into the wilds (too dry for a fire) and I hate camping without fire. I'll try the option with the outerlayer on as well that sounds like a game changing method. How would you compare the tunnels VS hooks? Hooks seem way easier and less potentially damaging.
absolutely, I take mine to TAC events and shoot 100+ yards with a 3 pin slider and qad drop away rest.. in fact i also took 2 blacktail and 5 pigs last year in california with my infinite 305.
This is the Shockwave.... It's titled exactly what's written on the box and in the manual..... At least at the point in time this video was made. I'm not sure what is in the old Crosman product line or if the recycle product names for marketing purposes.
Thank you! Yes the stream was super super cold I had pins and needles in my feet. Interestingly there was a group of small eels swimming where I crossed. It's a shame I couldn't film them.
Exactly..." part of the food chain"... it's all a circle, and you will remember the event for the rest of your life, as there is a lesson in everything...Would love to see below surface footage if you ever get back to that area. The stream and forest look heavily impacted...
This stream or creek is quite long and flows out of a lake a fair few miles away. It then flows into a larger river which flows into the Baltic sea. This is probably the best section of it. It's surrounded by a mix of birch, beech, alder and patches of plantation pine depending on what section you're at. It's a shallow stream with a fairly dense population of beavers and not much else. You can walk miles along it and barely see any fish. Though during spring you can see small eels trout, roach, and perch but only small stuff. Its a typical stream for this part of the world. Proverbially sh1t flows downhill so this far down the system you're going to get most of the crap.. They are trying to restore sections but it's kind of pointless if they don't start at the root of the problems.
I see a lot of wonderful "enclosure materials" to harvest besides mushrooms...I'm trolling your channels today during my morning break and office time...Thanks again for the conversation on Reddit...Feedback was welcomed... In this video, the layout is great but the focus is a bit shaking...I'm sure you will get better... The stump at 04:16 is a perfect example of a harvestable piece for a biome enclosure that targets this ecology type...and the flora/fauna that lives in it. This "temperate zone" type is a lot harder to manage than tropical because of the requisite "dormant period" and the proper temperatures it should have...
Thanks for taking the time to come troll me 😄 Yeah, these were some of my first vids back when I was using my old Samsung phone. I have a 4k camera and gimbal now! Which is life changing!!!
I have watched more than 50 videos on RU-vid and i found that your target is the best from all of them . Tomorrow inshallah I will try this one.❤ Thanks for the idea. Love from Hindustan 🇮🇳❤️
Thanks for the compliment! It's super cheap, super easy to make, and you can make it as big as you want! Plus it lasts for ages and ages. I've shot thousands of arrows into this one. If it does wear down just add more plastic and it's good to go.
@@ProcrastinatingWoodsman I've Had It About 2 1/2 Years. Very Good. Had To End Up Using It Open Sighted. I Have Never Been Able To Make a Break Barrel Stay Zeroed.
