Hello. I have just bought a Citroen C3 MK2 Diesel BlueHdi (99ps), 5 speed manual, 2016 model, with 105.000km on the clock. After driving it, I've realized that the clutch was very stiff and it was hard to press it and it equally pushed my foot back, when releasing the clutch (Note that I am a 6ft., over 200pounds person, so I am not short of strength). I decided to change the whole clutch set with the LUK one, valvolines, as well the clucth pump (I was told by the mechanic that LUK is the same brand that the brand's dealership put in this car). During the first day the clutch was quite lighter.; not buttery soft, yet quite lighter. Now the next day, the clucth became almost as hard to push as it was before changing the clutch set. Is there a way to make it buttery light/soft without spending a fortune? It has already started creating pain to the bottom of my foot, with which I operate the clutch. I find it unreal for any car to have such a stiff clutch. Thank you in advance for your support. Vassilis
I have a beautiful R36 and drive no faster than say 95 km's an hour also not on the Freeway (2200 to 2400 rev's). So to me this video looks pretty alien but is there any risk of damage to the engine and/or gearbox doing this "catapulting" thing ? It should have been designed to do this I'd say ? I don't like high rev's that much myself.
Hi Jan, yes I know I have seen your many posts about this. They are absolutely designed for it, it’s an OEM feature, I wouldn’t be doing it every single set of traffic lights, but it’s there to have fun, the whole car is there to have fun the way you want. So drive it the way you want to, if that’s like a grandpa or a P plater, the car can take it as long as you maintain it properly.
@@ThatCarChannelOfficial Thank You Car Channel ! I will just do it now and then maybe a bit more modest than here just to keep the engine "clean" because of my modest driving style. I am 69 so a far cry from a P plater (who are not allowed to drive this car in QLD) and certainly at high speeds (if they were allowed) I can't react fast anymore. I feed it 98 Petrol and maintain it with a garage specialized in European cars. I had the gearbox fluid replaced 14.000 km's ago. My real passion is when you click my channel button 😄Cheers, Jan
I tried that on my Fat PS3 60gb but nothing happened no sound at all. My PS3 restarts by itself when my son is playing a Call Of Duty Game and it’s annoying.
Just got a bottle for my 02 4.7 dakota. Will add when i chambge my oil tomorrow or maybe next weekend. I Havnt used any oil additives in a while. I used to use hyperlube but that stuff is literally just thick oil and no additive package so dumped that from the procedure
I actually can’t remember, it was a loan car. From the slight wheel spin, I’m thinking it was the FWD, although I did get an all grip from them at one point.
My FG XR6 6spd auto had the Transmission Fault, and went to limp home mode. (3rd gear) 180,000km, serviced auto. Disconnected the battery, cleaned terminals/clamps, and tightened well (were a bit loose too) Started ok, drove for 20min, all good 😊 Apparently if battery voltage goes to 9v or below, the ECU throws a hissy fit.
Thank you, the 4.0 and the 2.7 tdci are totally different trans. The 4.0 uses the ZF6, the 2.7 tdci uses the ‘heavy duty’ 6R80 which is based on the zf6, but built by Ford.
It’s actually pretty spritly for an old cortina, similar to if you have a 3SGE in an ae86 or other rwd Corolla.. sure it’s not a 1000hp 2JZ. But it can definitely put a smile on your face with the noise!
Hello , so i have a cressida (gx71) with the 1G-E engine , and i thin the injector specs for 1G-E and 1G-FE are the same , is that entirely plug and play or do you do any other adjustment ?
Hey bud, would those first wheels fit an Audi A4 B5 1.8 petrol (2000)? I know your’s is obviously the sporty version of the B5 like the rest of the S4 line, but finding it really hard to make any headway of what alloys would fit the car before splashing the money on them 🤦🏻♂️ so many contradictory comments on forums leading back to square one. Thanks anyway
They fit these with no mods that I am aware of, the S4 has the same body shell as the basic B5’s, so from that perspective they should be fine. I didn’t fit these however, they were on the car when I bought it.
HI, Do you think it would work the other way round, putting a lexus cluster in an altezza? I need a MPH clock fitted for the MOT test in the UK. The Altezza has the rpm in the middle with the speedo to the left, where the IS200 has the speedo in the centre. I've also a digital kph read out in the bottom right. Car is manual.
Can i avoid replacing the worn ball bearings and just replace the boot it had like syrupy oil dripping out of it when the spider end pop out .ive just replaced the bushes and not having a car hoist makes the job unbearable...
It depends how badly they are worn, rear CV joints are not as prone to wear as much as front CV joints as they don’t have the articulation or travel that front does as they are a steering axle. If you can replace the CV boot along with fresh grease (making sure you clean as much of the old stuff and potential contaminants out) - you might be fine. Hard to say, but worth a shot!
@@ThatCarChannelOfficial oh one more thing before the axle comes out what do I need to unbolt first? Do I just remove the diff end shaft then from the hub so I need to unbolt anything else before I hammer and block to force the shaft out of the hub
