Our family spent many decades going to OC. We use to stay at the carousel ourselves when my family sold our condo. Now days our Family Travels to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina because the Beach is nicer, weather is nicer and most importantly it’s less expensive compared to Ocean City. Its very expensive to spend a Week at Ocean City. Last time i took my wife and two kids we spent well over 4 grand. Our SC trips are farther but definitely less expensive. We enjoy taking day trips to Ocean City but not vacations since we live in Maryland and are so close to Ocean City
I totally can relate. That is the one negative with Ocean City during the summer. The prices for hotels are just ridiculous! That is why we tend to go during Memorial Day or just after Labor Day weekend. The weather is still nice, less crowded and best of all, lower hotel prices.
Ocean city is ran down hotels out dated way to expensive for what it is the people are ignorant locals are the same if it rains its 100% flooding food is hit or miss ... there are 5 cops for every 1 person and they will ticket arrest amd haras your better off spending a few extra dollars and go elsewhere
When I was in high school a friend of mine and I played hockey. We went to the carousel to skate. We asked if it was ok to bring sticks and a puck on the ice since no one was using the rink. The manager said ok and we started passing and shooting. People liked watching it so much, the manager asked us to come back and gave us free food and drinks just to skate around.
I so appreciate you taking the time to watch it and leaving such a nice comment. OC just gets in your blood and feels like nostalgia and being home once you visit.

This is my goal! I will retire in Guatemala City and Lake Atitlan, but in the meantime I need to keep working for it. Thanks for sharing these inspirational videos.

Hi! Love your video! I have been there two times already and love it! I will agree that cleaning staff is not consistent for sure. One day great. Next day not so much. And we always make sure we tip! But overall. If you travel to other countries like this all the time. It is worth it! Staff was always great other than the cleaners. Maybe they are not getting paid enough! They do need to update.. I did not encounter a lot of kids. Maybe Feb is time of year? But very few

Loved the food, the beach and the spa and with some much needed updates to the rooms and a little more consistency with the cleaning staff it will totally be worth returning one day.

What a beautiful love letter to Fells Point. We’re staying at the Admiral Fells Inn in a few weeks. I had no idea it was haunted. Will have to do some research. Thank you for this beautifully done video!
Why thank you so much! How wonderful you're coming for a visit and staying at the Admiral's Fell Inn. Be sure to check out the Anchor Bar in the basement and talk to the bartender Steve about the hauntings there at the hotel. He is also the best mixologist in all of Fells Point.
