Your video has really boosted my confidence. I'm giving my exam when I'm 36 yrs old and 13 years after my graduation. I just have 6wks time and I'm worried if it's enough.! After knowing that u cracked in 10 days sparing 20 mins a day, u made me confident that I too can. I'm currently focusing on oet alone. After I pass this, I have to crack plab too. Can I seek your suggestion, should I prepare for both simultaneously or take one at a time?? I have hardly 5 months time to prepare for plab After finishing oet. Is that duration enough?? Please reply

Hello. I have a question here. I have problems with getting visa. So, I decided to take telerotations. They are very different and some of them are really expensive and from big universities. I am really confused. I do not know if spending money on expensive ones is a waste or I can build good connections and use theLOR from the big universities to improve my chances of match. I would be really thankful if you could help.

Nobody will tell you this : usmle exam is important but only one of the pre requisites required to get a US residency. The main thing is networking ESP if you are a NON US citizen and non green card holding FMG. No one will be willing to sponsor your visa. They would rather go for someone with less marks who has atleast a green card. I wasted 2 years of my life from 2013 to 2015. All my contacts said just focus on the exam. None of them revealed the fact that they had a contact in the board. A friend of mine, super brilliant and laborious, sent emails to more than 500 hospitals, did PAID EXTERNSHIPS for 2 years before she built contacts. Networking is everything. It's not like India or Sri Lanka-- once you secure a rank, no one can stop you from getting the residency of your choice in the entire county. I know people who have squandered thousands of dollars for doing externships and got nothing. Came back after 3 years. Some stayed because their spouse was settled. Its very hard. You have to be shrewd, manipulative, sychophantic apart from being intelligent. And if you are not white, good luck!! No one will tell you this truth. Everyone told me focus on exams.. That's all you need. Everybody gets through via contacts.
