Join me here and let me share this magic with you. It´s going to be a dream and an adventure.
I usually show the beautiful places I visit, but I have decided to also add in my experiences of life in Germany as a Brit. My meditative videos show a calming and artistic view of the places I visit and the quiet, peaceful wanders I take through them. Medieval villages, picturesque cottages, beautiful cities. Relax and escape with me from the busy bustling world to my dreamy and serene slow living way of seeing my surroundings. Experience the magic of peering into the past and being in a fairytale, just for a little while, instead of in our sometimes overwhelming world today.

The first pictures of a dry valley looks very familiar. Isn't it Kiesental, just north of Blaustein? I was living here. How come we haven't met? I love the countryside of the Svabian Alb. The rocks, the valleys, the smell of the soil. Ulm is just at the border of that small mountain range.
@@alidemirbas6566 have a look at my Blaustein video! I love this valley, I think it’s one of the most beautiful places in Germany. I really miss living there.

@@LaureninGermany it’s in Park4Night, near Dornie. if you get there in the early afternoon, you can probably get a spot. There’s room for 3-4 Campervans. After you pass by with the castle on your left, you turn right and go up a hill through very pretty rhodidendrons
I am German and when I was in England and Wales I noticed that people were much more polite, friendly and smiling than in my country. But I could say the same concerning other countries as France, Italy or Spain - people are much more relaxed as my compatriotes, I feel much better in other countries than in my own.
@@LaureninGermany Thank you! 🙂 Now I am looking forward to my holidays in apulia where people smile a lot (okay, the sun, but not only...). On every holiday, whether in Spain, Italy or France, I'm asked for directions because people think I'm a local. I certainly don't look typically German because I'm short, slim and dark-haired. ;-)
@@urotewelt7069 I get that a lot, too 🤣 But in GB people see the German number plate, or hear me speaking German to Franz, and tell me that my English is very good! 🤣🤣🤣
@@LaureninGermany You are also dark-haired and don't necessarily look Northern European! It must be funny (or not...) that your compatriots compliment you on your English language skills.... Don't mind, be cool! ;-)
@@user-gq9oq9cn6y I have really enjoyed being in my own country for a while, Peter! It helped reassure me that I am not actually strange or weird, but simply foreign. But I was very very glad to film for my German/Norwegian u.v.m. RU-vid community. Have a good Maria Himmelfahrt!
Learn from the Danes, Lauren. They are so clever: " grøntsager i haven, kød i maven" Translated; ""vegetables in the garden, meat in the stomach" 😊. Germany is really a great bread country. Danes think anything except rye bread can kill you. In the old days Danes called any bread made with wheat flour and yist "French bread" or even"fine Cake" Nice video, as usual. How is the British bread?
Maybe that‘s why I liked Denmark, Hans… all those lovely vegetables left over for me!!! Ha! Now, I am on a mission with the British (and at the moment Irish, too!) bread. So far I think Scotch or Glasgow baps are the winner, by miles. I take this very seriously.
Hello dear Lauren, the Victoria Space cake looks reallly delicious. I immediately had an appetite for this delicious cake.Have fun on your lovely trip. Kind regards from beautiful East Frisia and the North Sea coast.
i have been to the UK a few times, their cooking didnt impressed me much... maybe i went to often to France or Italy... so i am used to real good food!
Now I understand why the shanty goes "Rolling home, rolling home rolling home across the sea!" -Upright walking motion will no longer be an option after all the nommy goodnesses there. 😅🥳
@@LaureninGermany 🤣 That may be a mode for bargain travel, now that I come to think of it! Get a sport boat that is travelling the direction you want to go and get them to tow you! In this summer heat, the cool sea water would be lovely! 🤔🤗
You're a crazy chick 😂. That's why we love you . I love to see the Celtic stuff. And the music. So we germanized you with bread ? Great ! 😍 Take care 🌹
Lauren, you should try visiting the megalithic tombs in northern Germany, they are somewhat between 4800 and 5500 years old. Okay, the landscape is different, but sometimes nice, too.
@@LaureninGermany In 2012, I visited the Visbeker Bräutigam, the Brautwagen and the Heidenopfertisch, but the Visbeker Braut will be visited in the future, too. There is the "Straße der Megalithkultur" with many of those tombs, and there is also a site on the internet dedicated to them.
Oh that's just lovely! Scotlands landscapes are just totally amazing of course. And the foodie choices? Well, let me just say, that Jamie Oliver turned me into a kinda half British person anyways. Well he and Doctor Who! And British punk rock of course. The list goes on … 😅 But Crumpets are definitely on my list to try!
Thanks for taking us with you, as well through all the British (and German) food items ...haha ..your past and childhood is shining so amazing out of your face !! 🙂
