You’ve got my creativity stirring, so I’ll tell you how I go about these dilemmas myself: Balaclava: after your layered turtlenecks idea, it only made sense to me that you would do the same with the Balaclava, especially when trying to wear more colors & prints. You can wear the colored/printed balaclava underneath a solid colored one if you are more of a dabbler when it comes to prints. I do the opposite. I wear a solid black earmuff headband underneath my pink & orange print balaclava. Try it. It totally slaps. 😂 If you don’t have a balaclava, just wrap a scarf in an Old Hollywood Actress Goes For A Drive in the Countryside type of way. Dungarees: I hate matching tops to Dungarees. I have big boobs and hips and don’t like the way the dungarees make my top press against my body. So I opt for Coveralls, because the Onesie reigns supreme! Just add some red lipstick and freshly shaped eyebrows and you are good to go. Skirt over pants: I love long maxi skirts, but don’t like going out in the summer sun. 🥵 Loose lightweight carpenter jeans underneath a long flowy maxi in the Winter & Spring is so feminine. Aren’t pants supposed to be worn under skirts? They used to be worn with underskirt bloomers and long John’s. But now, our undies are too tiny, so we use the next best thing jeans. 🎉 Keeps your thighs from chafing, a total win! Mixing prints: I’m still trying to get this one right. Haven’t found any tops & bottoms in my closet that I like to pair. But I have found that it’s easier for me to pair printed shoes with a printed clothing item.
