I doubt that farmers ever imported stones to make walls. They just used the stones provided by nature, which is similar to making lemonade from the lemons that seem to surface in life. Good content. 👍
My grandfather had just a farmall H that had a homemade loader for the H and it also had a diamond plated bucket once I loaded it with Mason blocks and bricks the latch let go and it dropped on my right foot and the cylinders was on the side next to the engine and it was cable and it did the job I miss doing farm work with my grandfather
It's funny when you're in ag you're perspectives on certain wildlife changes. I have some poultry so for me I don't care for the yotes, foxes, hawks, or eagles. Enjoy seeing them in other places... but not near the farm. Deer ruin so many crops.
So do haybines... I've certainly hit a few. While I don't care for the deer, it's not intentional... they won't move. I've known some where in the area and was actively looking and still don't usually see them until the following pass and it's too late.
Yea some hunters get pretty emotional, the deer harvest numbers for last year were low, there are more and more every year…. You could dispose of 100 a year and 200 will come to replace them
