I have been collecting music for over 35 years, started back when one would send cassette tapes via mail to trade with others collectors who you would find in ads in the classifieds of music magazines in the early 80s. Then of course the Internet facilitated being able to join newsgroups, IRC servers etc. dedicated to specific artists or music genres and that was like a whole new level. Now with torrents, RU-vid and file sharing, obtaining rare recordings and videos of one's favorite artists has never been easier. So, time to share my videos!
About this time a friend gave me a copy of frank Marino live..I was ate up with it.one of the best live albums of all time.he can really play..I can't give points for creativity but the feeling and intensity was sure there
I saw Black Sabbath with Ian Gillan in the Born Again concert at the old Busch Stadium, St. Louis. Smoke On The Water during the encore was a delightful surprise to everyone.
When I was in my 20s, I was living in Toronto and my buddy and I used to follow these fellows to more than a dozen concerts Always an awesome performance by Kim and the guys! Early players like Mike Tilka on drums were the best ! Also saw them open for Rush at Guelph Memorial Gardens ! I am heard screaming on “the Party” opening which was taped at a concert at Hillside Secondary School ! Ah yes, fond memories Love you Kim !
Wow, thank you for sharing this concert. I saw Max Webster live a few times before I was 16. They did a legendary concert at the Kee to Bala, and blew the 'preserved fruit jar' lid off of cottage country. They were different from other Canadian rock bands in this time; it was rock'n'roll with glam style. Genius.
With a talented band like YES, everyone at the shows has a good time front row to back. Saw them both nights in San Francisco Cow Palace 1984. Make up concerts for Trevor Rabins hotel pool injury that tour. Some woman jumped in the pool landing on Rabin. Think he ruptured his spleen and had surgery to remove it. So much for stupid pool stunts. The make up concerts were GREAT. These guys blow me away every live performance. Saw the reunion tour too ,with all band members and a revolving stage in the round. At Oakland arena. Seen them 4 or 5 times. Pure talent.
6:30, I love his accent here, "Well don't push so hard then.'' Lol, it sounds so neat. 8:12, lol, he got spooked for a second. 50:38, cute hum noise here. 55:30, weird moment in the video here, tape must've gotten dirty or scratched in this spot on the spindle. 1:00:10, weird blue colored light effect, but neat. Wish camera quality wasn't so fuzzy and blurry, but oh well, they made do with the best camera quality they had to work with at the time, I'm sure. And microphone audio quality too. 1:8:28, look at that smirk by Peter, such a cute little moment there, a man in control of a captivated audience, and he knows it. 1:13:00, my favorite moment of the whole entire album, it's such a cool musical piece here. 1:;40, cool how he involved the crowd into the song, but he didn't think that they were loud enough, man, his hearing mustn't be too good, because they were decently loud, lol. Bless him. 1:29:53, A true rockstar move, awesome. 1:32:53, neat camera panning trick. 6/11/2024, 6:16am
AMAZIIIINGGG!! This is news to me, I was not aware of any Purple Sabbath footage of an entire concert. Wow! This sounds great. You made my day. Thank you behind words!
Sure man, go for it. Just download it from my channel here as that is the best quality I have. You could try searching for a torrent or try Guitars101 but I ripped it from a DVD that I burned from a torrent many years ago so, I don't know if you can find better quality than what is here. If you do, feel free to upload it to your channel and let us know here that you have remastered it!
I was on the main floor about center stage about 10 feet from where the stands begin. Masterful performance by Deep Purple.💜 Blackfoot impressed me as well. Just turned 18 July 27th. My brother Neil bought our tickets as my birthday gift 🎁🎟️ Thanks for the present Bro. 🔥🤘🏻🍺🔥
