I am on my first can-am Spyder RT Limited. I got a 2024 for the car play. I use a Sena 50S headset and I cannot use the phone or speech with google maps or Apple Maps. The audio is distorted (very slow). I have not gotten any help from my dealership and BRP. The Spyder is amazing and very fun to ride. I love everything about it, with the exception of car play. Cardos headsets do work but all of my friends have Sena headsets with mesh. Ideas?
I bought a 2021 Ryker this summer. I am having a blast on it. Hope to trade in for an RT either early fall of 2025 up to spring of 2026. Hoping to find a 2024 during that time with a decent price since the 2026 models will be out, we will see if the financial realms allow this to work out or not. Loving g my Ryker and so glad I did it. But I want to do some extended long distance touring I can do it on the Ryker 900. But I think for that would prefer the RT.
Hello, I have a question. I just bought the same car. There is a warning sign on the screen. Is this normal? Always use this multifunction gauge with extreme caution. Prolonged attention to the display while riding significantly Increases crach riek. Refer to the Safety Card before riding. PET CARD
I’m 69 years old and haven’t ridden for 50 years. I need a cane to walk, with one leg almost useless. However, I bought a used Spyder RT two weeks ago and love it. Once on it, I am in total control and enjoy every moment. Just one more happy rider!

We want to ride several of the National Parks (Bryce, Zion and Grand Canyon) in 2024. However, we want to trailer our bike to Denver first. What do you recommend for trailering a 2020 Can Am RTL 1,300 miles? We know you trailered your bike to the Black Hills and perhaps you've formed an opinion.

I wanted to thank you for all the great coaching videos. I got my 2014 Spyder RTLimited with just over 2000 miles on it in October 2023. I am 79 this September; have ridden street bikes for most of my adult life and can not operate a two wheeler safely. Getting used to the Spyder steering characteristics took some time and practice. Your instruction videos made the learning process so much more enjoyable. I love the Spyder and enjoying the ride. Thanks again!
For my birthday which actually is in 3 weeks a 2023 xan am spyder f3, my first bike, received my motorcycle petmit and taking my 3 wheel class starting this monday.😊

New to your channel. Great job! What do you do with your cameras when you’re off the bike and checking places out. I unfortunately don’t trust people like I used to so I’d either lock them up or take them with me.
I’ve wanted a trike since about 2011. I bought my first Harley Davidson trike in 2023, it had 2 miles on it when it was delivered to my house I messed with it and played with it and took the three wheel class that Harley offered. I informed Harley of the 13:18 issues that I was having with the bike which were clutch issues mainly and battery drainage issues. Harvey informed me that they were going to take a look at the bike before my roommate took the class. When she went to the class, she was treated like garbage by the dealership and that sealed their fate. I turned around and traded the Harley Road glide three that I had for a can M spider F3 S. I had ridden Harley roughly 213 miles in 10 miles of ownership that’s how dissatisfied I was I have ridden the spider more than 200 miles since August 20 24 till September 2024. So based on that, I see it for me and not for everyone if a spider was a better choice.
What I want to know will the 2020+ hold all my camping equipment and my clothing bag? Surprisingly yes just my 1-2 person tent, and the inflatable bed needs to be attached to the clothing bag which will rest in the passenger seat area but it does it. Mind you this is just for solo and not couples.
Hello Coach Bob and Coach Vic, You both are a true inspiration! My husband Clark had a stroke and a Liver transplant, I'm a breast cancer survivor, our daugter Crystal was handicapped! I kinda see a little of Coach Vic in our daughter Crystal. The first time she rode on a horse she had the biggest smile on her face and she made the front page of the newspaper intitled "riding away the restraints" We never felt comfortable about putting her on the motorcycle due to her disabilities. But knowing her she would have absolutely would have loved it. God called her home 9/9/2002'. My husband and I ride all the time! We currently have a Honda Goldwing. We are interested in possibly going to a Spyder Can am loaded version! My husband is getting artheritis so bad he can hardly pull the clutch in. We really enjoy watching your videos all the time! Hi CB3, brilliant comparison. I have to say I'm not keen on the Gen3 frontal, it just looks like they ran out of ideas, but I like the 'fangs' in front of the radiators. The Gen2 with the pointed front just looks right, and with the radiators more out there. The Gen2 dash looks nicer compared the mono tone Gen3, also I not keen on the touch screen when you are driving give me nice ordinary buttons. It's good that they have put a USB for the driver to connect to. Pricing here in New Zealand is NZD$51,634 + ORC* for a 2023 RT Sea 2 Sky. Used prices vary from NZD$18,000 - $40,000. I have a 2011 Spyder RS, and about to buy a 2015 F3-S.
The exposed engine look on the newer model is created by a cheap piece of plastic, lol! As a matter of fact, all the plastic body panels on the newer models is by far cheaper and softer than on the Gen1s and 2s. I have owned a 2014, a 2020 and a 2019 RT Limited. I sold the Gen3 2020 and went backwards to the Gen2 2019 as the 2020 was an absolute piece of crap. So many issues I gave up on it. To me the Gen2 was/is a superior made machine with better quality.
Thanks Coach I think you did your usual great job on the comparison. Linda and I have a 2018 RTL and I had the opportunity to experience a great demo ride on a 2024 Sea to Sky like your loaner. I noticed the difference in smoothness you mentioned. Quicker response for sure. Love the new style and rear storage. I held off so far due to all the issues they have had with CarPlay. I hope you’ll do a video on how you set that up and your impression. Do love the new dash. Praying things are better health wise for you and your daughter. I thought my 2018 F3 is perfectly smooth until I took the 2023 F3 for a test ride...😅... I too thought it was smoother and more responsive. There was definitely a difference.
Hey Coach Bob, great job on the comparison between the two models. You brought up some interesting points. I have a 17 RTL I love it, it has been a great Spyder with 37000 now on the odometer and no problems whatsoever. But I do like the newer models too and am looking at upgrading to a 2023 model next spring. Hope you get to keep the 24 S2S , I know it is your dream Spyder ryde 😀 Ryde safe and God Bless Artie
Great video. Was looking a video on the 2025 Sea to Sky. My wife came bye an said when you getting one, so we can ride together again. My blood pressure jumped 10 points. Hopefully there will be one in the garage in the spring.

(And FINALLY Apple CarPlay) 3) Reverse button on right and shift on left works well 4) Lit controls on handlebars and lastly 5) No antenna to contend with! But not limited to!…🤣🤣🤣
Additional question. I just went over 30,000 miles. Had the big tune up. However, just had the Canbus give a warning. Was advised, if it went the bike would probably run, but I wouldn't have a dashboard. Have you run across this in your tr avels.
I have a 2018 RT Ltd. The Sea to Sky looks like the rear seat (passenger) looks a little more elevated above the driver seat. True or just optical illusion?
I have a 24 RTL and am shocked that you can’t get decent passenger arm rests for it. The Can Am ones leave a gap at the rear of the arm rest. Unacceptable to me. I saw an after market set that mounts to the tour pack but that has mixed reviews about them loosening up all the time. Hopefully someone will come out with something decent.
I may be impartial I like my 2019 Spyder RTL in chrome It looks better to me. but like you said it's subjective. My running boards are plenty big enough. I do like the new dashboards. You're 2019 probably has a few more miles than that sea to sky that will definitely change the way the bike feels. The way toys depreciate you have to ride them to the wheels fall off.
