I've had BPPV vertigo, instability in both ankles and balance problems for years. I'd respectfully decline these highly biased tests. You couldn't design a better test to prove that people with issues like mine are drunk when we are actually sober. Field sobriety tests are biased, inaccurate and based on pseudoscience and judgement calls. Why would I want to turn a highly scientific test into a freaking ice dancing competition? "Oh! I'm sorry Mr. Marshall, but even though you tested 0.0% on the blood alcohol level test, the judges weren't impressed by your form on that last move. So, you're going to jail."
I don't care what anybody says. Nobody can walk to heel in a straight line without losing their balance. I'm a scare in a snowboarder, and I have never had a problem with balance, but these tests designed to make you fail, not designed for you to pass them at all this is bullshit, the problem is nobody is doing anything about it and the worst part is they're doing the same standardized test on elderly people in their senior years. As a 69 year old woman, I was strapped for a un license plate bulb that went out and I was given this test and I told him I can't do this test. Nobody can do this test. I'm not an acrobat. And if you lawyers don't start speaking up and trying to protect us older people who have been accused of having glazed eyes and slurred speech simply because we're old then as far as I'm concerned, your lawyers are completely useless.
Field sobriety tests are junk science. No one should ever submit to field so sobriety tests, and law enforcement officers should be forbidden to perform them.

You should have check your law dictionary for definition of "mandate" and "mandatory". Also the was then is now, weather with employment contract or agreement to be a student, that was a contract entered into. Much undue influence was used to get people to waive that contracted right. I work for civil corporate defense attorneys. When the EEOC says to a corporation, “give me all your personnel records. If you’re innocent of discrimination what do you have to loose?” the corporate lawyers tell their client- “DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE EEOC,” then they tell the EEOC, “direct all communications to corporate counsel.” You can’t get in trouble for something you don’t say. And if you’re in trouble (and you may be without even knowing it) nothing you say can be used for your defense and everything you say can be used to prosecute you.

its wrong to deny anyone who has completed a sentence the ability to hunt and defend themselves and family. I am a felon and had a lot of problems with pit bull attacks , the deputies told me to get a rifle or shotgun and use it to defend myself, I told them I was a felon and they said just get you a gun and keep it nearby for self defense . I told them I was afraid to do that, so later I got a call from an officer and he told me to get a rifle and keep it handy and I again said that I was a felon and he said ,sir , get you a gun and use it if needed to protect myself and my dog, we wont do anything to you for defending yourself with a gun. I said if I do I don't want to end up going to jail for it, they said get you a rifle or shotgun sir. I am still afraid to do so
I hired a US tax lawyer who lives and practices where I do here in Alberta Canada. In my opinion this lawyer turned out to be a scammer who got me for thousands of dollars over top of the agreed pricing and did sloppy work at best. When I directly complained to him he got offended and replied to me in an email stating “Guys like you need to learn the hard way. Happy to teach”. This is just one example of how unprofessional this guy was to deal with. I contacted the Law Society of Alberta to file a complaint and found out that this lawyer is not a licensed lawyer in Alberta and holds no license to practice law in Canada. He says he doesn’t need to talk to the Law Society of Alberta and can practice anywhere in Canada. I don’t think he is correct. Should I sue this clown for a crappy job and for scamming me?
