I didn't like the psychics in Gr.3 but liked them in rallying & road cars. In Gr.3 im lapping only 0.5 seconds slower from my lap times from current psychics with current update. I was 0.5 seconds faster with 1.48 update previous psychics.
What's your upload schedule? I enjoy your videos and am always thrilled to see a new upload from you. They're just kind of on and off and then I feel we lost another sim tuber off the platform. Not complaining or anything...sometimes life has us by the nuts lol.
Lol yeah my schedule is a mess. With full time work, cycling, table tennis, badminton and this week travelling... Ideally I want to somehow get to releasing a video a week, but I really need to be disciplined. Currently releasing like 7 videos a year... That's not good enough, I need to commit more.
i hate the new physics.. im a drifter in gt7 and with every fkn update they ruin drifting. suspensions got wobbley af, tires got way to much grip and the cars just cant hold the drift anymore…
I think your struggles with top speed etc. might be down to more than the physics. If you look at the top right by the track map, you can see the windspeed. Where you were struggling to hit speeds in the Supra at 5:05, you had a headwind against the car, which pretty significantly effects you in GT7. I can't speak for the wind in the old clips as it's cut off, but it's worth a consider. You can test without wind by going into a lobby or custom race and enabling "Equal Conditions" in the race settings. For whatever reason, you can't do that in time trials. At 5:35 as well, the ABS display is broken when watching a replay and it will always show as full ABS lock, so the clip from that lap is probably from a replay which is why it's showing like that. I don't think they ever changed the way it displays, but the way it physically functions has definitely changed this update.
Nice idea with equal conditions, have to remember that one. But for the speed tests though that wind was the same direction blowing across the track but slightly faster in the old update footage. I should have mentioned that I checked it. But I actually am testing wind again right now so we'll see if it's changed. Good info on the replay brakes too, I am still perplexed as to how I never noticed it.
I believe there should have been more extensive testing on off-road terrain, considering I've heard from many friends who actively play the game that vehicles feel noticeably better on dirt tracks now.
Gran turismo needs to go to AI jail for rubberbanding its not real racing you would think kaz would know better being a racing driver himself. Gt sopfy isn't available on all tracks in gt7
Love the post. Great racing. But honestly, you aren't showing a great "noob" experience. You've done all of this before, learned your lessons, "earned your speed". In general you are racing against folks who haven't ever done this before. I didn't catch your rating at the beginning, but if you are A plus rated in your last account, and you proved you know what you are doing by your quick jump to sport, you have a huge advantage over the competition. A lot of the dirty racing comes form folks really not knowing what they are doing. Someone tags them, they decide "F" It, and tag them or someone else because they are frustrated. All of that said, in general yes, the "sport mode is a cluster" is more self-fulfilling prophecy than anything. There are awful, filthy, mud-caked racers out there, but they aren't the majority.
Dude.. i have tried alll of them with the exception that i have a Renn sport sitting in my mailbox. GT7 is amazing, man.. for what I'm looking for. And i have been having an amazing experience in sport mode. I got my safety to S on Friday, and now all i see is one or two nuckle heads in a race. Im running it on my CSL DD with Drive Hub, and once i got the FFB right off on the fanatec side, WOW 😊 the FFB is so lively and gives the right infor i need. As per the AI. Yea GT7 could use some AMS2 AI lol My only gripe is the 120hz mode. Its ass lol the resolution and anti-a takes a massive dip and just gives you jaggys and a screen door ? Idk but if they fix that id be on the 120hz all day.
Kind of a sim, but the recent f1 games do mostly have good drafting, I weave on the straights to break the tow, and many times if the ai are close enough they follow the weave to keep in the tow, or when you go defensive they follow you, than pull out of the tow to try and go for an overtake which they are pretty decent at
Just yesterday in A race with D drivers starting out like me I’ve been rammed off the road, tapped on formers to spin around (and get penalty for going off track) and brake checked when in slipstream to smash into the car in front in a long flat out straight. Others got no penalty. It can be frustrating.
What’s worse cars get minimal penalty of 1-2s if any when they ram me off the road and I lose much more than that by going off track. Game should DNF much sooner

Play a week everyday then lets see how you had got on. i just played a new game. brake checked immediately. rammed of next corner then hit from behind into barrier and got a 4 sec penalty. fished last and lost dr and sa. i did nothing wrong. you are just a egotistical moron mate. gt7 is a great game but it is flawed by cheating angry people. record 10 races a day for a week without incidence and i will apologize to you. what a joke man.
I'm going in today after work, I just got the multiplayer and sport unlocked last night. It tool everything I had to just shut it down and get to bed because, responsibility-_- Can't wait till my route is done today.
You over steer the car a lot which is where a lot of your spins come from, plus putting the foot down in a RWD when spinning is not the best of ideas, lay off the accelerator and wait for the tyres to gain grip again. Maybe turn the force feedback down. When you approach a corner you don't really turn until the apex and really steer hard and then correct. Practice smooth in smooth out and turn in one motion to the apex. Brake bias is key for entering corners, usually the rule of thumb is, RWD move it back, FWD move it forward. FF1600, is RWD. Install crew chief so you know when a car is aside you. Hope this helps.

If you want quick racing GT7 AND FORZA would be best for you. iRacing is a professional platform, the physics out perform console racing games. The graphics engine for iracing is supidly old, but for me i don't care as long as the physics are right. ACC isnt that pretty and has shiteee AA.
@@atlantic_love Look at what I wrote. They can improve the surroundings of the tracks for sure. The asphalt and curbs look good. The cars look better than ACC imo. And the movement of the cars is for sure better, everyone can agree on that. The environment tho sux especially on old tracks it looks like it's from 2006

It teleports to try to combat cheating, but it's a bit aggressive sometimes. And yeah.. getting vids made is tough with a full time job and other things to do on weekends. But I really want to somehow get to 1 video a week 😅
I was really scared to get into this, but to be quite honest, it's really not that bad. I've only ever had a couple incidents and those were punished accordingly. Overall, a good experience. Just drive well, as you would in real life, stay safe and don't be a dickhead, be patient and the rest will sort themselves out.
C'mon now, how are you going to come from a clearly winning account and start the online experience in GT7 with a new account as a "noob?" You may have tricked the game into putting you into races with actual noobs, but you still brought your skills and years of experience from your real account with you. Your racing etiquette is refined. Your driving skills have been perfected. Your instincts sharpened. Meaning you just drive better. You hit less things like walls and other cars, avoiding earned penalties. When hit, you recover with little or no effort. When hit, you have exponentially better chances of recovery, which translates into less unearned penalties resulting from assisted contact with other cars and punts off-track into walls. Overall, your skill level makes last to first races against true noobs and their collective mistakes a cake walk. Unfortunately, as well-made and well-intentioned as this video is; without a frontal lobotomy, you can never truly experience gt7 sport mode from the perspective of an average newcomer to gt7 again. Trust me, I've gotten punted without cause into the wall, got a penalty for wall contact, and watched the offending driver disappear in the distance penalty-free more than once in the past week when I began racing the dailies regularly. I've started most of those races in fields with 3 to 10 second ranges in qualifying times in the field which can be rightfully connected with the number of racers trying to enter that particular race at that specific time, yet I still question that there isnt some way to drastically tighten up the field. Anytime you've got that big of a range in driving skills, you're asking for trouble. New slow drivers all over the track. New fast drivers with no patience. None of them predictable... the skills and experience you have in the end means you just cannot share the experience of drivers new to gt7 today. Nice try, though. I watched the whole video, and for those ppl looking to learn, there is plenty of valuable information. Thanks
Sport Mode is trash. Simply a venue for online azz hats to ruin your racing day. Played about ten races, was knocked of the track at least twenty times. You have fun though.
SIM racing games aren't much fun than previous years arcade game like GTA San Andreas, Driver Parallel Lines, Driver San Farncisoc, Watchdogs. Its a shame to lose to any game that aren't really racing oriented game.
120 FPS with PS5 does not allow vrr like the Xbox series X. 4K 60 with the PS5 seems to be okay, the HDR causes ghosting. 120 HZ works better on Xbox series X at 1440 p no HDR thanks 🙏
You've got nothing good to say about iRacing. I've been using iRacing for over 14 years and I am by no means a fan boy but I think your take sounds like someone who prefers the console way of racing. No disrespect but I think you should probably stick to Forza and gt7.
I absolutely love iracing i mean yeah it sucks sometimes im currently on D class after a month using iracing im still learning about but so far im loving it wish i done this pc sim racing when i was a kid lol
i could not agree more, this is the longest skill issue I've ever seen in my life, 26min of complaining that its a hard game. like bruh your Irating determines your split, you want good races get better at the game lmao.
How is that his problem? He literally showed in the video that he is getting around 700 Mb/s download speed and only 2 Mb/s in iRacing. The problem are the Iracing servers.
