The way police are demonized is sickening. Stop holding the 98% of law enforcement, which are good, accountable for the actions of the 2% of law enforcement which are bad.
Unless you know which you're dealing with, you have to treat all of them as if they're bad when you're encountering them. But also, if you're in that room, the cops think you're the bad guy and want to send you to jail.

I think you are underestimating the will of the Karen Read supporters. They will be there in January. They’ll figure something out. I’m sure they are already working on coming up with plans. They weren’t noisy from what I’ve seen. They weren’t out there screaming all day long. They were cheering for KR during her arrival and departure. I’ve watched videos from local RU-vid channels who were there filming. Two times they were loud outside of arrival and departure. Once when a defendant escaped police custody and ran through the supporters with police chasing him. The other was when 5 “Justice for OJO” supporters showed up to shout at the KR supporters. It’s their right, but it shouldn’t be blamed on one side. I also don’t believe that these people want justice for John O’Keefe, but I’ve been following this closely. This was on the final day of deliberations. The KR supporters have said over and over to not engage with the other side. To just ignore them.

Bullshit, organized crime is too often impermeable to outsiders, and it's one of the only options to get them to court. This tactic is not only legal, but necessary. We are talking about big criminals here, people like the heads of the Hells Angels when they terrorized both Quebec and Ontario. Im from Newfoundland so i found this super interesting. I listened a podcast about the crime and it talked about the sting but I was too focused on how he probably killed his kids to realize how cruel this was.
