Exactly, Armand is such a hypocrite, he acts like he does nothing wrong. And how dare he say Claudia didn’t love Louie, she love him so much. Armand needs to back off ☝️😤
@@selenarodgers5667 'how dare he' ? Louis literally made fun of Armand for being a survivor of years of CSA. after that, imo any insult Armand wants to say is fair game.
@@wildoranges I’m not ignoring what Louis is saying to him, I’m just saying that the part about Claudia not loving Louis is such a lie. Louis is at the wrong & Armand is as well, both of them in this argument emotions is unchecked & they are both saying things out of anger & pain.
@@wildoranges um, I think giving up your love to the coven to get them killed is pretty bad and pales in comparison to horrible verbal blows being said here by Louis while high on drugs. The reason Louis is in this depressing mess in the 1970s is because he lost his daughter and can’t cope. Armand is the mastermind behind the whole fucking trial!
I literally can't stop thinking of this scene 😭. You cut off one of my favourite lines though. "Mark it in the calendar and align it with Ursa Major, Louis' tri-annual fuck off and find me!"
@@_notmyproblem_ion know tho. This last episode, it seems like when he’s angry, he can just about take on anything. Hell when he’s angry, take anything you don’t want to burn and get tf out.
@@tjhouston1280 Not against Armand or Lestat. They are both much older and stronger. I'm talking about his lovers. That's what Louis does. He hurts them with words. How did the fight between Louis and Lestat turn out? The arson on the coven was an act of revenge in rage. He still had to wait till they were in coffin and incapacitated to go in there.
@@tjhouston1280 Yes, but Armand also let him do that. There is a difference. Armand and Louis' relationship was never physically violent. It was all mental and manipulation. Jacob said in Autumn's latest interview Louis shoved Armand because he was in his head. Still trying to gaslight Louis that he was not involved in the trial. If they were to ever fight full force, Louis would not be strong enough.
Both actors are soooooooo good! It's unhealthy the amount of times I've watched this Emmy worthy scene! I love the way Assad just reacts to Jacob's fury! That's Armand right there. And Louis... I like him here better than the books.
i love that this louis isn't as much of a perfect victim. it honestly makes me feel for him more - he spends a century lashing out and lying to himself, and watching him finally start to face it in the present day is so cathartic. i want to watch him heal, even when it's hard 🥺
if there's not a proper emmy campaign for this show, this episode and these two talents next year (this episode is not elligible for this year's awards), we go to the streets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AMC WAKE UP!
I believe Louis knew the whole time, just as in the books that Armand had something to do with Claudia’s demise. I think he deluded himself into constantly doubting it. Armand’s mind fuckery probably didn’t help. That explains the drinking of druggies, the reckless behavior. He’s still trying to cope and get over the guilt of Claudia’s death. By Dubai, he’s a stoic shell of his former self.
it's brutal enough that he remembered SOME of armand's betrayal the whole time 😭 after s1 i assumed armand wouldve made louis forget everything, but even without the reveal from the last episode, they spent 77 years together when they both knew that armand gave louis and claudeleine up to the coven. i dont think either of them ever believed louis could actually forgive armand, so it's just a whole relationship built off of like ...... sunk cost and self-flagellation. god damn what a show lmao
This scene is everything! Just amazing acting by these two tortured vampires. The anger, pain, frustration and anguish these two are going through…you can feel it in every line of dialogue in this scene.
ikr i was holding my breath the first time i watched it. they have a lot of parallels with real life heavy shit in this campy vampire show (louis and lestat's s1 fight, the scene right after this one, etc etc) and the wrong creative team would make it exploitative or shallow, but this team takes the subject matter seriously enough that it ends up just feeling true
@@katpanet agree, cast and crew of the show are such an amazing talented people with passion for what they do. They made an incredible show, beautiful writing
❣️fckin brilliant scenes. the realness. "picking lint of the sofa", 😆the way Louis said that with such disdain made me smile despite the devastating low blows they give. ❣️thank you for uploading and all your hardwork
@@armyonly2776This isn't the beginning of the scene. After Armand separates Louis and Daniel, Louis has like a coke nose bleed moment. Armand rips newspaper off the window to show that it's morning and goes off about he was at home waiting for Louis, he literally says picking lint off the sofa, but Louis was here with Daniel. Louis' tri-anual "fuck off and find me."
This was INSANE to watch live I was freaking out so much. These guys are two of the best actors I've ever seen. Btw Armand has never done anything wrong in his life ever ❤
Did anyone catch that? Armand: "To the heart, and off to the fingers and feet!" Louis: "Dull days, dull weeks!" The way they say it is almost so musical, too. They really leaned into the theatre vibe this season! 0:26
I think I love this scene so much because we get a glimpse of the real Armand so full of emotions even if they're negative. It's the first time he isn't covering himself with a mask. The first time he isn't faking or trying to act a certain way to please someone else. I hope we see more of that in the third season.
@@wildorangessay what you will about Arun, Amedeo, or whoever tf but the little Gremlin does hold some twisted semblance of love for Louis. So much that I don’t think he could bring himself to actually hurt Louis, he’d probably let Louis do him in
