While i understand the familys actions, i would do the same, i understand that the police have to do things a certain way too. They have to abide by protocols. What people wanted the police to do here are the things the police get abuse for doing so ease up on them. They have to do things a certain way or else they'll be breaking laws and crucified by the public.Well meaning people could also jeprodise any case against a suspect. RIP Miya. I wouldnt be surprised if his family filed a case agaisnt them claiming their following him and confronting him, accusing him, led to him taking his life! What if he was innocent? What if they found some other oportunistic person did it??
This is beyond shameful. This family did more than the police. Far, far more. I get it, after 10 hours they generally won't open a case...but there were so many clear signs of foul play here. Her murderer came RIGHT UP to her family! The videos they recorded of him were beyond enough to realize this guy had done something. Disgusting.

I fully believe this family stopped a serial killer. Rather has already killed others or this was the beginning. I believed the way responded and asserted themselves he was cornered!!
Note that the lack of a reasonable sentence is because Ohio doesn't have the penalties for it. If he had crossed state lines, the feds would've prosecuted him with a minium sentence of 20 years up to life. Locally, people need to demand more stringent laws for these degenerates. For example, in Colorado, if this had happened, he could be facing the death sentence.

Ugh, what is it with these moms and their bfs? I just watched a similar case on a different channel. Let's just say these evil beings deserve everything they face in jail, because even criminals don't like child molestors...Ironic that her mother named her "Justice" (yes, I know I misspelled her name) and then betrayed her so deeply. My youngest two were missing for maybe half an hour, but it felt like years. They're autistic, and they snuck out when I was sick and had accidentally fallen asleep. When I realized they were gone, I went absolutely batshit. I was screaming, crying, snot everywhere, praying, screaming their names, calling everyone I could think of. I was NOT calm, I did not wait, and I did not lie to make myself look better. Thankfully, a good samaritan saw them, then saw me freaking out and put two and two together; my babies are safe in their beds thanks to her, and I send prayers her way every time I think about it (which is still often).
Chicks need to be way more wary about dudes like this. If he’s throwing off creepy vibes, constantly making sexual comments, getting weirdly possessive after you just met - do NOT try to be “just friends” with this person. He doesn’t want to be your friend. Any shred of validation or attention you give him will only encourage him 100-fold. Stay away lol.
How the f is it that the cops skip over scott saying, i was going to get rid of the HEADS....then he stops and corrects himself. I guarantee you hes got another victim somewhere....one that wasn't found. Wonder how many missing women were from that area and time period.
The friend of the killer said, his mother prayed that if he is innocent God will protect him and if he did something to her then he will reap what he sowed. WOW !! He definitely reaped what he sowed.
John List the guy that murdered his entire family because he lost his job it was later found that in his mansion he had a sign tiffany original peace of glass above the ball room in the mansion that was worth over a $100000. If only he knew the murders probably wouldn't have happened. How sad
