As someone who's only finished the main story and have yet to come around to the other ones, the elinalise reveal here was a "holy sht" moment for me. I had an inkling she had more to her past, but I was not expecting that.
Eris didn't wake up and decide to leave. She decided to leave and then decided to have sex with Rudeus. You can tell based on how formal and awkward she was acting when she came to his tent. She thought of it as a way for her to give him something or thank him. Fair enough. But saying nothing beforehand to the one you claim to love is cowardice of the highest order and makes your "gift" seem tawdry and cheap. She got him to be as vulnerable as she could and then knifed him. Her reasons may have been as loving and honorable as can be, but the way she did it perfectly highlights why she needed to go. We can see that, but Rudeus can't and understandably draws the most logical conclusion given the evidence he has.
If Slyphy found out and was given great detail about what kind of person who was she would probably put together why his legs would shake when around something involving bullying and also be conflicted that he died in his past life saving Nanahoshi of all people
I always hated Myne from episode one, but when I got into the light novels and manga. Well lets just say any sympathy I had is gone. I found out she not only ignored the people suffering and used the king's authority to do whatever she wants, she also used the kingdom's money for her own personal use without any care. Worse than anything in my opinion, when she was about to be executed she begged Naofumi for mercy, however she mispronounced his name as she never said his name before then, it had always been "criminal", "devil of the shield", etc.
Old Dragon's Tale should be Animated. Laplace is a major key character . The Anime surpasses the Manga up to this day. And Anime Season 3 is currently in production.
Im dropping the series after season 2. I thought it'd be some special mystery thriller anime but it turned out to be just another disgusting isekai harem anime. Here just to know what the hypew behind TP4 is
spoil me some part,since aisha knew rudeus is reincarnated from a different world during their previous travel and was capable of making japanese rice making rudeus dream come true,was it truly aisha talent that she was raised with? or is it that she has some secret plot? since aisha is not formally normal than most characters is a bit scary
After the Aisha told Rudy that she knew and after Aisha banished for a while few years, that night Rudy had a special meeting with all his wives in his bed room to discuss in detail him being reincarnated and possible triggers from his past life that they may need to protect Rudy from or just to help them understand why does things.
Fun fact: I always thought that Mushoku Tensei was a pedo, and all that shit, anime because of what everybody was saying about it, but someday I was like "no way and anime can be so bad and still in crunchroll", I must see with my own eyes. To my surprise the anime is just awesome and now is my number one anime for life.
I kinda do agree with a lot of things Normalities said. It's just that she didn't portray them in the right way and or didn't do enough research. She already had her preconceptions and didn't look into other viewpoints. Also, this is just a personal statement but I hate the term "cancel culture". Truthfully, it isn't real unless you care about it or people were exposed for obviously morally wrong things (things like blackface or being an actual criminal). Cancel culture is so insignificant and if people were to just leave social media, they wouldn't be cancelled.
Why does everyone need to have a take? Just watch it or don't watch it. The fact that people think they are important enough to cancel a show or cause some social justice by saying something is problematic or whatever. The truth about people and problems is that no one cares about your problems unless you also make it someone else's problem. So if someone has a problem with a show just shut up and don't watch it. Like why does everyone think that they matter? Also everything here applies to me too. What I'm saying is that my takes don't matter and that my problems don't matter to anyone else. So it's not some egotistical moral grandstanding. Everyone has the right to critique media but at a point it just becomes so overblown. It doesn't matter, it's a fucking cartoon XD.
So Rudy became a hikikomori from high school to his 30s, how old do you imagine his computer is? Think about how different computers were in that time span in our real world. Do you think his parents would buy him a new computer? I don’t think so.

When people shat on a specific anime because theres something they don`t like. I am wondering why they even bother to attack it? Can`t they just turn away from it and ignore it? In my eyes its purely attention seeking. Also When you create a story/Game. A good way to make it feel immersive/Realistic is to include some darker stuff. Like Rudeus Sexual issues. Baldurs gate racism to Certain races. Also nudity in games. The world isn`t only good things and rainbows. Also bad and Dark things happen in it. So excluding bad things makes it feel Artificial and fake.

i recently saw someone saying (on Reddit) Redo of a healer was better than Mushoku Tensei for writing, in their words not exactly but the sum of what i remember "it makes more sense for what the character is doing in Redo than Rudy." they did mention the character is Redo is a psycho but still was trying to make some kind of downplay of Mushoku, now i hope they were a troll and not serious but after reading some of the people thoughts on the series/ip i would not be shocked.
Let me say that jobless reincarnation is my favorite story. I have spent the literal last year reading, watching and rereading and rewatching the show. But its because i have it all so fresh in my mind that I understand why people come to the conclusion that this show trys to play light into some bad stuff. Rudy has done some bad things and after he marries one girl, cheats on her with another girl and then marries a third girl, he starts to treat women better. BUT IT TAKES A LONG TIME BOTH I. AND OUT OF STORY TO GET THERE. and untill then you have to slog through scenes where the world justifies a 40 year old in a 10 year olds body doing bad things. Yes these are not hanious crimes in this stories world but they are in our world and it is okay for people to air there grievances about it. Rudy isn't a bad person but hes done bad things by our worlds standards and while I look past it for the sake of the awesome story and world building and fun characters, i have to look past it.
