I’m glad I came across your channel! At 10:50, you mentioned that you haven’t hung out with someone in 7 years! Wow! That’s a long time. I hope you’re hanging out with some good people now. I’ve been embracing my disabilities more as well. I’m a wife and mother. I have four daughters and been married for 11 years now. I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety at 16 years old. I’ve experienced postpartum depression with all my pregnancies. I have to admit, I would be depressed for a full year after giving birth and would I do it again, I probably would lol 😂❤ honestly, I’d be your friend lol you remind me of my older brother. He’s a musician, plays guitar in a band. When he’s not making music, he’s a chef at a local restaurant. He was diagnosed with manic depression and bipolar disorder at 13 years old. He also had a learning disability and was bullied a lot in school. I remember fighting other kids when I was a kid because I didn’t like it when they would pick on my brother. His classmates would poke him with needles like a sewing needle. The treatment my brother received because of his diagnosis just breaks my heart when I think about it but he’s taught me a lot about humility and forgiveness. A few months ago, he had an episode. He turned off his phone and started saying goodbye to everyone in our family. That same night, I told him to stay at my place until he felt better. It was nice having him in my house for 3 weeks straight lol I can’t imagine life without my brother. What would be your advice to my brother? He’s doing a lot better now. He’s always checking in with me and is a great uncle to my daughters. Because of what I went through, I’m studying to be a school psychologist right now. And my little sister is in grad school too for counseling, she’s looking to be a licensed therapist. I’m so happy I found your channel! I hope is well and keep unloading. ❤😊
Wait, Whan I'm sleeping,I hire voices, like someone or something is saying my name, and sometimes while I'm sleeping I suddenly can't move, like I'm paralyzed, and all of those experiences get worse when I panic, and when it gets worse,my hallucinations can touch me, talk to me, and I can't control them,so do I have schizophrenia too😐😶
Listen guys there is somethings I don't remember if I did them....like jumping from the bridge...I remember that I was going to jump from the bridge...I did call the police and I told them I'm going to kill myself...than the cop told me call your father.......I don't remember If I jumped from that bridge but I remember I was going to jump from that bridge I don't remember exactly what happened....I'm sorry.......I don't remember exactly what happened I don't wanna do anything with this life....I'm sorry guys.......the other things I did them I did got high on cannabis and I was drunk and I did get on the roof and I almost felt from the roof.....and I remember about this police man its gendarme I remember I fought with him or something....I don't want this life....I'm sorry........
As much as possible you shold not pay attention to voices or visual alucinations because is worse as you increase them. try to do other things in order not to think in the illness. Don't see yourself as a victim all this things can help you..try to find a goal in your life or a hooby so that your mind focus on it.
You're not useless Jacob and you are good enough. You're better than good enough. You help people like me who would feel alone without you. Take care of yourself.
Thank you for sharing so honestly about your schizophrenia. My adult brother experiences delusions and hearing about your experiences helps me understand what he’s experiencing better.

I dont have what u have but i suffer with insomnia cant sleep also im on xanax for anxiety attacks that ruined my life im on seroquel 200mg it help alot for me to sleep but did make me feel like a zombie untill i got used to it.i wish u good luck i no u will have a great future ❤️🩹💯😎😀

Hi. Do you know good video games for people with schizophrenia? On ps4. I saw something called a flame in the flood which looks pretty cool. Ive found indi games is what i think is cool. Maybe where you have to work together or figure things out, preferably together with other players online. Maybe also meet people. Preferably not with too much violence or too much addictive sides

People are so consumed with contemporary life that they’re literally losing their humanity. Speaking for myself, I isolate from those people (even family members) because I can’t relate to them anymore. I dont have Facebook, insta, tik tok or any of these social media platforms. They took our humanity away from us. People don’t even realize like if you really think about it, face book. Literally stealing people’s identity and using it as data. Smh I’d rather be alone with the exception of finding people like you to talk to about things like this in the world.
I went to a haunted attraction by myself once. There were hundreds of people there and not one person was there alone. Everyone had at least one companion. I drew a little bit of attention but not as bad as I thought. I had a good time but I admit there were moments when I was waiting on line looking at all of these people in groups laughing and socializing and felt uncomfortable But then I thought about why I didn’t have anybody to go with, & I realized that I would probably prefer to be there alone as opposed to being there with “friends”. People that are there for a short period of time in your life and probably don’t really give a shit about you or don’t stick around for another 20 years. Would a friend be nice to have? Yes but not if I can’t trust them 100% or feel like they’re just there for the moment. I’ve only just started watching your videos Jacob and obviously don’t know you well at all but I totally understand where you’re coming from.
