anybody have an issue where a random fm station or pure static abruptly plays with these? it happens all the time whether it's because it's being left on for too long or a power problem or whatever, it's mad annoying though
I do acoustic shows where I run my through my Fishman Artist to PA speakers…do you think that plus a pair of the Harbinger 8’s would suffice, or is the vocal quality on the 10’s so much better to warrant the step up?
I love the Harbinger i just bought one and no complaints about it. There are good options for connectivity, and very very loud, so you can't go wrong with it
I recently purchased a McIntosh XCS1.5K Center Channel Loudspeaker. It was a bit expensive but the 1,500 watt handling power really makes this speaker outstanding.
since the horn can be rotated when set on its side LD should make special brackets for the 12s that allow you to stack them up on top of each other since the sides are flat and you can stack them like line arrays
I have heard the 3000 series in the store and liked them. I did read online review that said the 4112's got hot and had to be returned. Another reivew mentioned the 3000 series as being newer, so more advances (PEEK) and with bugs probably worked out
@@raspillade6027 I bought one 3112 It sounds good but I have not tested it out at an event. It does get a bit warm. Once I test this out I will make a review.
The last one is the very aptly named 12MB8.0 from JBL, in case anyone is wondering... 👀 P.S. In case anyone happens to buy one of these, be advised not to exceed the 2000W continuous power rating, as per the AES standard (peak power rating when fed a pink noise with a 6dB crest factor). The 4000W figure is the recommended power rating of the amplifier.
Go ahead folks spend 4 times as much for nothing really better! I have 4 RPA-16 amps. 4 PBG-18 subs and 2 JBL Party Box 710's and 2 Party Box 310's.. Rockville ROCKS!
