If you do a dont bs me 2024, you could do a “sloppy, not so sloppy, big money” option for each major component so people can spend where they want and have 3 kinda sloppy “spec” builds. Toms Hardware used to do it for PC builds back in the day and I always loved that concept.
If I remember right the mustang engine is a small bore 6.0 stroker. I would imagine it's down on power compared to a factory 6.0 because of valve shrouding. Small bores shroud the valves worse which means less flow.
The cylinder heads on it are small board even though they are aftermarket we made sure to get that part right my engine guy is pretty smart, but we’re all confused with this even my summit engine guy so I’m hoping it’s my fault somewhere along this timeline and we’ll figure it out
Just letting you know that even though I don't have ANY LS stuff, I appreciate the hell out of you and your freely sharing knowledge. The fuck it, it broke and I'll keep going attitude is contagious.
Hey Matt and Jamie, I was the guy who asked the question about E85 and Nitrous setup. You were right as I did use your videos as reference when setting up my all motor stuff (a few times actually). I sent you a message on FB Messenger, but just to say again a video would be amazing but totally understand you're a busy guy. Would also be happy to check out the tune you mentioned. Great Q&A we def enjoyed it!
I’m open to do a radio show whenever you want. If Jaimie is available that day I would love to chat with you both. Let me know I’m game whenever. Thank you for the kind words. Great show!
Hi watching in uk, been watching your channel since the first fairmont. I bought a fairmont in 2013 and turbo ls swapped it, finally got it on the road about 4 years ago and i love it so much ill never sell it, but thanks for all the info and vids.
@@SloppyMechanics okay that makes a lot more sense. I’m wanting to run one of there newer blowers that are a good bit bigger and run a wastegate set up on it so I can rev it higher in its efficiency range but still make 600+ but hopefully not a lazy pull like a lot of centri set ups
Sloppy Himself: small quick-spooling turbos fold rods from big low-end torque! Also Sloppy Himself: 500lb-ft+ at 2200rpm with a blower is safe! I'm very confused now...time to revisit responsive street turbos?
