EDIT: Well this sucks, I have gained quite a bit of weight back in the last two years. Life is rough sometimes and now its time to take it back off.
My name is Jeff Standley I lost 160lbs on the 4 hour body, slow carb, diet and I am not going back. This is my personal vlog about how I go about maintaining the hard work I have done to get where I am. Since so many people struggle with weight loss I figured I would show my daily success as well as daily struggles to keep this weight off and live a healthy lifestyle. It is not easy and I am proof of this as I fight daily to stay fit.
So you got healthy on TRT but didn't do bloodwork as recommended so you blamed TRT for your clots, Stopped TRT. Now, your morbidly obese again..what's really unhealthy?
I am currently taking warfarin and was also undergoing testosterone replacement therapy when I experienced a blood clot. While I cannot definitively state that the therapy caused the clot, the timing of the event is noteworthy. I'm leaning toward COVID-19 or the vaccine but am too scared to try it again. Great video, and it's comforting to know someone else is fighting a blood clot like me. God Bless.
I'm 50 and have been eating right and hitting the gym consistently for over a year....haven't lost any weight, still got the gut. I'm looking at trt and know it increases stroke risk but donating blood every few months can offset that.
Awesome job Jeff! 👌🏽💯 So proud of you! I was put on Metformin then switched and have lost 20 pounds🙌🏽 Definitely have to eat better and exercise. Don’t give up you got this!
You are not a morron or anything, you went to the doctors has it was supposed to be done, the problem is that doctors see you has a client and just dont care or bother about what is happening to you, they just want to give you the trt and make money with it. You should not need to talk to 2 3 doctors, any other service you purchase, you dont purchase 2 or 3 equal services from different providers just in case.. the problem is rooted in our society and unfortunately there isnt much we can do
Hey i need help im a 21 year old with heart disease since birth just did my full heart repair in now im curious on what i should be eating diet wise? Any tips i don’t have any weight to lose or anything i have a different condition that pretty much kept me skinny just trying to figure out what i can or not eat. Love the channel have an amazing day.
As far as diet advice I would definitely reach out to doctors and make sure you don't need to stay away from certain things. I can only speak for me and what worked. I loved the 4 Hour Body diet, or Slow Card diet from Tim Ferriss, it worked so good for me and my eating lifestyle.
Low testosterone was killing me I'm now on the gel and I feel great before that I was getting inflammation my cardiovascular was going since then everything as dropped and I feel good
I live in Europe, and i have disease and i need Testosteron, i use Androgel on my skin every day in the morning, my total test is constant 700 ng/dl, you don t need injections
Do some cardio. You're not in shape as a human if you can't run3-5 miles every day. Period. TRT will make you a better animals. If you sit on your ass and lift weights and never get your blood flowing systemically you're wasting trt. You don't deserve to be on TRT. Lazy bums would rather donate blood than get on their bike, go hike a mountain or run a 5k. Sad they think they are "healthy" because they "lift weights" a few times a week. Quite the opposite. High Hematocrit is like having an extra gear. Go use it not sit on your ass and get a blood clot.
Go watch Boogie2988 videos blaming TRT for his cancer. Sounds exactly like this guy. Both extremely overweight guys. Seems like a pattern. Undisciplined people always look for something else to blame.
@@4HourJourney you are clearly extremely ignorant about TRT. I watched the entire video and have been on trt for years. I can’t even begin to explain how many things you got wrong. This video is just dangerous.
@@Dreamonoid I absolutely got it wrong and took accountability. The video is all about that and what to watch fore if you jump on. Not knowing enough and a carless doctor.
This video is terrible. You clearly didn’t know anything about TRT. You didn’t donate blood, you didn’t talk about your blood markers. You blame weight loss on blood clots, but in reality you crushed your testosterone by stopping it which causes weight gain and fatigue. You shouldn’t make a video about this scarring men who need this treatment because you’re an ignorant undisciplined person. Being 360 pounds is a complete lack of will power, and if you’re vaccinated that also could contribute to every symptom you have. Delete this video.
You're screwed if you follow their advice. I've been on TRT for years. Here's your problem. If you are on TRT you must donate blood as your blood thickens because of its effect on red blood cell production.
@@4HourJourney I see. I recently found many people complaining about side effects from that. Well, these issues are a thing with TRT, but not to the extent you suffered. I always advise people prone to blood clots to change their diet; grains and seed oils are extremely inflammatory. Unfortunately, being common, abundant, and cheap foods, these grains and seed oils enjoy an extravagant benchmark for allergic reaction reactivity. In short, eliminating those things from your diet will absolutely lower your propensity for blood clots and may incidentally result in increased testosterone. My second piece of advice is serrapeptase, an over-the-counter supplement that is just a freak of nature win when it comes to autophagy with anti-inflammatory properties. Be well, man!
Bro, you should just delete this crap. It's such a nice headline right? It really grabs your attention. Trt did not almost kill you. It's a load of bullocks.
Wonderful sir. You are a perfect candidate for any and all Herbalife products (except those that are specifically targeted towards women). On your journey to becoming stronger, their gold standard, highest quality in the world, Nobel prize winning doctor on their team, etc... products would be just perfect for you.
Starting slow carb, but not sure it's a long term solution. Are you planning on re-implementing slow carb, or have you moved on from that diet and why?
So sorry to hear about your health woes. If you don't mind, I was informed that blood donations every 8-12 weeks could be necessary to avoid situations like this (by my prescribing therapist as I am currently on TRT). Were you informed of this as well, if so were you either doing this or having your blood thickness tested regularly?
I'm 44 and I starred trt ands fkr.skme reason.im losing soon much wight my urologist put me on it I'm moody irrated stressed I literally keep.lsoing weight can anyone help me.woth this my.legs thighs it's crazy
I read up on the muscle mass loss and I am trying to do what I can to reduce or eliminate this while taking it. Checking in with my doctor on this one pretty often as well.
It’s not cheating! It’s your personal journey, who gives AF what anyone else thinks. 😂 I appreciate you sharing! Can’t wait to see how well you do on the Ozempic. New year, new you, Jeff. 💪🏻
You did this entire video and never told what your Tes levels were at when they were low. Then you never told what your levels were after you went to the clinic. Blood clots typically happen from Tes levels that are way too high. So what were your levels?
I doubt trt gave you the clots, it can thicken your blood. There are so many bullshit science theories that no one can prove by actual science! Testosterone is really quite safe as long as you monitor your blood tests. Obesity and fast food will definitely give you blood clots plus multiple other illnesses. If trt did this they would have seen blood thickening and told you to stop trt.
I'd love to hear what you think it was? I was healthy, lifting, and eating well at the time. People seen to gloss over that since I am fat in the video.
I wouldn’t recommend Nebido which is a TRT therapy to anyone! I took one shot of 1000mg from nurse at doctors surgery which is supposed to last 3 months and got instant insomnia and shrunken balls! It also made me feel depressed! Compare that to an 8 week cycle I did a few months before of street steroids I bought from bodybuilder which was far better and more efficient which was injecting myself with 300mg of testosterone cyprionate per week for 8 weeks. I actually built some muscle but lost it after falling for a girl that didn’t want to know so kind of stress muscle loss I suppose but it was still better than the Nebido stuff
Have you ever been diagnosed with asthma? A lot of people get asthma as they get older, especially as they gain weight I have asthma, but only when I am obese and out of shape when I am in a 20% body fat range my asthma completely goes away I don’t have to do cardio or anything for it to go away, I just have to drop weight I think it’s pretty normal for obese people to have breathing problems even just from talking
Did you have success again? I got the 4HB Book and need to start. I'm looking for other people on the Slow Carb Diet or those that had success with the weight loss part?
