I have an R7 and i love it. I like it much more than my R1..... But i do not understand a turbo cost on a CP2 engine. Is it like i have money i just want to see what i can do type deal.
@@extcreat thanks im planning to buy zh2 se, already talk to kawasaki dealer and im planning to buy your intercooler. I lived in middle east and it's very hot climate here 30C 40C. How much horsepower do you think it's safe to push with intercooler? I did some talk to zh2 owner they said 240hp is fine without intercooler is it true?
@@extcreat i want the bike to be reliable as possible because here in middle east there none of people use zh2 lmao. The dealer said if i buy the bike i would be the first guy to use zh2 in that area. Question is, I Don't want to ship stuff waiting for 1 month since all the good parts of zh2 are in america. If i bought the bike i literally has to do mail in flash since there's none of people can do ecu flash/tune for this bike
Hi , just have Kawasaki ZH2 SE , i like to upgrade my bike but the drilling matter for a cooler i cant do it my self. Do u have the lower part of the cooler drilled? And what gears ratio to be fast top speed? Tnx

The 21 onwards injectors flow the same as the earlier ones & have a slightly more refined spray pattern, we haven't tried them but they should be fine also
@@CoryAulenbachit's a simple boost tee , an electronic controller is better as you can set boost levels & adjust how boost comes on etc , we will be changing over to an electronic controller soon.
im a bike mechanic in melb and i really do love the R7 and MT07. lams and open are both just well balanced bikes with a really awesome power delivery And the R7 is my fav looking sports bike of all time, BUT id prefer spending 10-15k on a 2nd hand late model R1 or mt_09. I have multiple bikes including a cbr1k on 14.1 comp and race fuel making over 200hp But again my friends mt09, full exhaust, power commander, quick shift and dyno tune is by far the best street bike ive ridden on the streets. Its got both torque and HP, a sick sound, smooth enjoyable and still handles as well as a bike needs to on the street
Great video! I wonder why a forged piston on those pathetic rods? What do you think about suzuki getting a patent for a turbo Ptwin for their 800cc ptwin? People don't lile the idea of losing a spicy inline 4 in favor of a P twin but i think when people ride one and get a fist full of juicy torque they might change their minds. I think it's the future of Euro compliance and big power.
So, does the ECU still have the restrictions from the factory or have you flashed and given the throttle a 1:1 and sorted the air/fuel ratio? If the ECU is still stock I bet you'd get another 15-20 hp by removing the factory restrictions.
Flashing the ECU is the modern version of fitting a dynojet kit and ignition advancer, more involved sure, but only optimising the settings via the ECU.... this is real tuning !
Love watching some proper engine work 👍🏻 I work on my own bikes and learning how to rebuild an engine was one of the most satisfying things I've done....old bikes are easy to improve, modern ones, not so much. Turbo charging has got me thinking !
