@@NickTaylorPlumbingLtd youtube.com/@plumberparts?si=UNfgJKvu8iswuwZz Not knocking you but I just find him great. He also does these funny American accents and facial expressions. Plumberparts the channel. He was one of the earlier ones on YT I've been following.
Why must you turn all the taps on upstairs and downstairs after turning the water off via 'isolation valve/indoor or outdoor stopcock' ? Our kitchen cold water ceramic cartridge has seized up (probably limescale has clogged the mechanism) and won't turn on, so why can't we just turn off the mains stopcock and allow any residual water to drip out as we unscrew the cartridge?
Great video, I have a glow worm Ultimate 30c combi boiler, but need to remove 2 radiators so I can plaster the walls. Can i still use my hot water for showers and such(radiators will be removed for a week or so), or would i need to isolate something first? Dave
Brilliant video. Many other cistern videos don't cover the detail involved in attaching the thing to the wall. So, i really appreciated the effort you made to explain that part, and more. THANK YOU
Hi @Antonio, thanks for the comment, we’re all entitled to our opinion and I value yours. All pipework a fall on pipework is to British Standard, all pipework is de-burred and the infrastructure is solid and I’ve never had a problem in all my years. Are you from the USA?
I fit a load of the vitra concealed cisterns. Got to get the fill and flush pipes spot on. Drawings we work to have them dead centre on the grout lines so they've got to be millimetre perfect. Look pukka but they're fiddly to get screwed to the wall spot on.
Brother, we have seen other plumpers on RU-vid. He heard the jokes before. So we did expect you to say that the moment you stsrted fingering that hole.
Good explanation Nick on drain down and refilling the c/h pipe work system. However, in your process you’ve not put any inhibitor back into the pipe work when filling? How would you do that when filling back? Thanks
How does that tap work if there’s two pipes going down but one entry point in the disk? Wont the water just mix? Or is there another external thermostat and the tap handle is just on off which I doubt
Probably not that common, but after the pain of being let down by another trade, I learnt early on and quickly that the only way to offer the best customer service is to invest your time in perfecting your skills and offering the whole package 💪💪💪💪💪💪
