This has eased my mind! I'm currently doing level 1 plumbing and my tutor showed us what we will be doing on level 2 and I saw these passover and my head just blew! Watching this has been extremely helpful and comforting knowing what's coming at me when I reach these!

Thanks for showing where to roughly put the mark point, I specifically went out to get a pipe bender to practise at home; as my tutor had a hissy fit when asked where the middle of the bend would be. 👍
Could we have a video series on wiring S plan / Y plan PDHW Priority domestic hot water ect. Also as I'm sure you may know over 60% of heating systems are wired incorrectly as Plumbers sometimes use the earth wire as a switching wire :-( The continuity of the earth throughout the installation is in case anyone chops through or puts a nail into a cable. No earth protecting the cables would mean the MCB fuse would not blow leaving the cable and whoever was in contact with it receiving 240V. The earth all the way through the installation back to the Fused connection unit and then into the buildings cabling back to the consumer unit (Fuse board) is so there is enough fault current to blow / trip the fuse in the fused connection unit or Mcb at the consumer unit (Fuse board). If there was no earth continuity cutting a cable would not cut off the supply. SO MANY plumbers do not get this principal and wire the electrical side of the installation incorrectly. I'm sure you know this but just wanted to remind the plumbers / trainees so they know the importance of the earth wire. Earth wires protect the cable.. Repeat with me.. EARTH WIRES PROTECT THE CABLE! From idiots chopping through them and receiving 240v shock! BANG!! If no RCD (Residual current device) was installed the supply would not disconnect. RCDs disconnect the power on a small earth leakage (like you chopping through a cable or putting a nail through it) They disconnect with in 20 / 30 milliseconds. Fast enough so you don't die as a result of current passing through your heart causing it to stop! Please teach the importance of what I have just said.. Might save someone's life one day. Thank you!!
The college way you explained of finding the angle make's no sense, if hypothetically you were working with 200mm pipe you wouldn't do a 600 degrees bend. Every finished product you show isn't straight and the pipe would lean into or away from the wall within the first few feet of pipe.

This is how it’s taught, I know this first hand through my experiences and when I created this video I referred to college books to make sure I got all the details to be as informative as possible with the correct information. With your comment about the 200mm pipe, it’s too short and you’d struggle to do this particular bend up and over any height in everyday plumbing world, not even over 15mm pipe, BUT that sounds like a challenge! I’m going to do it and create a short just for you! ⭐️💪. With your comment every finished product I show isn’t straight, remember this is raw, real world plumbing based on everyday experience to give viewers a real perspective on it, forgive me for not spending ages tweaking it to get it ‘instagram ready’.
