Please what do you do with kefir grains if you don’t use them as much? I make kefir but it’s only me and there’s a lot of them and I don’t know what to do with them Can you freeze them or refrigerate them? If so how, Thabks
Thank you so much. Would you be so kind to share the age of the boys you are referring to? From what age your friend has started implementing kefir and fermented foods? Thank you 🙏
I cant tolerate kifer anymore along with gluten and sugar and dairy products. What has happened to me😢 will I EVER be able to eat kifer again? Luckily I can eat sauerkraut still.
My second batch turns a bit sour and had the whey 1/4 at the bottom. I can buy whole milk only in the country I am living. I have followed the rest what Dr. Davies mentioned in the book. Can anybody explains how to make a thick texture L. Reuters yoghurt. Thanks.
My mother had troublesome gallstones during her retirement years before the internet. She finally resolved these issues using the protocol of Ebba Waerland, a well-known nutritionist who lived in the mid-20th century and who had clinics in Europe. Mom would have loved your specialized knowledge
I am new to making my own milk kefir and have so much to learn, but I am loving the journey so far and listening to this today has been so helpful! Thank you for sharing.
My first time making l Reuters yogurt and it curtled up. It doesn't t look smooth at all. Was wondering if it can be salvaged for cottage cheese. It smells strong of parmesan.
Just tried out a bottle I made using grape juice....SOOOOO GOOD!! Was ready in 48 hrs in my warm Florida home. Stuck it in the fridge overnight to slow fermentation... just to be safe. Delicious!
Is it safe to drink a bottle a day or more? I'm staring at mine in the fridge i made about 2 weeks ago and got crazy busy. So far I've only had a few ounces at a time. How fast can you work up to more kefir soda? Thank you
Help please? Your different recipes state to use 2tsp, 2-3 tsp, and 1/4 C starter when feeding 1x/wk. Then when ready to use for bread, 2 tsp in one, then 1/4 C in another. Is it anywhere between 2 tsp and 1/4 C? Thank you!
Thank you. I've had a stuffy nose since COVID, - 4 and a half years now. The doctor said Flonase. Nope. Looking forward to getting this probiotic, and even getting to the yoghurt making stage 😄. Also have low testosterone, sarcopenia, osteopenia, so thank you!
I used one starter pack 1 month ago and have been rebrewing ever since bottle after bottle with that starter! It is very tasty and if you ever suffer from constipation or irregular bowel movements-kefir soda will for sure do the job! My favorite so far has been 100% apple juice from fruit, not concentrate! Excited to try the coconut water one next! ❤
My first bottle made with cherry juice/water exploded (like champagne; hit my face, hair, ceiling, window, cupboards across the kitchen, 😅😂😂) after 2.5 days. I'm in Florida and my house is 77 during the day. I burped twice a day and ugggghhh!! Should I have put it in the fridge and then tried opening? I take it 2 days is all I need in my kitchen?? Help before trying it again...!!
Had the same happen to me when I lived in FL with blueberry juice!😂 had to repaint the ceiling! Yes, it definitely helps to put it in the fridge before you open it! I would use maybe less juice, never shake it and don’t let it sit out for that long. I usually let it burp now every few hours! She also mentions in her new video that fresh fruit juices are more potent!
My friend who gave me my kefir kept telling me to rinse them with water, but it didn't seem right. I finally found your video just in time before I made that mistake!
How much different is this in comparison with the process of making a kefir? Because I have been doing it for over 10 years just normally at a room temperature at 20 degrees Celsius in a glass coverd with a cloth and I controlled the speed of growth and flavor by simply how much of kefir grains I put in the cup... usually it took 3 days for a new liter of kefir using a handful of kefir grains. So basically my question also is, can I simply use let's say 20 pills of the culture instead of 10, and then simply make the yogurt at a room temperature for 3 days or so?
I don't see a link with instructions which would be way better than listing an audio. Can you please put the link here as you said in the video. Where to buy raw A2 milk butter or heavy raw cream to be shipped? Thanks
@anthonychaffeemd this is my only issue with carnivore. Fermented foods. I'd like to know your thoughts on this if you have time at some point. I know you're extremely busy. Maybe you could share with us in the Carnivore over 40 group.
There are many coffee Kombucha recipes on RU-vid, but none like Donna's. She uses coffee grounds; I had plenty of grounds saved for her recipe. I just finished making 3 quarts using her recipe. Other recipes said that the Scoby needs to be thick. No problem, I was wondering what to do with the one that was created in my constant brew pottery brewer. It was formerly the base that held a five gallon spring water bottle. It will be fun to see how this batch turns out. I poured some off and experimented by adding 1/2 C. dried, unsweetened coconut flakes and 1 T maple syrup, then dumped everything along with 3 small, thinner Coby's from my stash. Drinking kombucha definitely makes me less interested in my daily, habitual morning coffees. I'd like to eliminate fresh coffee; hence, this experiment.
