This is a very good video. Great explanations for us dummies who are looking at this as our first introduction to codecs, and simple visuals that really help get the point across without being too distracting.
Can you try getting Nexus 4 to work in Wine? I got it working but the GUI only refreshes when minimizing and maximizing the plugin everytime i do something
Hello Jousboxx. First heard you in 2019 with the song Cities with Leche. This "Beyond" one is great, and Joelle did good on the vocals. Am hoping for some more songs from you with either vocals such as these, or one with lyrics in 2024. Happy New Year bro/sis. :)
I come back to listen to this whenever I'm feeling down. Thank you Jousboxx for lifting our spirits and giving us hope in these trying times. I don't know how the world would cope without this music.
theres supposed to be a way to setup low latency for wine. possibly using Jack or some other kids latency audio api. i think some people even got asio to work. any news on that?? post a video of you get a low latency setup going. i need 5ms or less for the kinda work i do, but any improvement is welcome at this point.
hey mate, do you also use other types of plugins like kilohearts, ozones, kontakt, massive, and all those type of VSTs ? I am also thinking about switching to linux, but I have a shitload of VSTs, and I also professionally use them. This is the most important question i think I've ever asked someone related to linux aha

What about drivers? For example my Audio Interface (focursite Scarlett 2i2) is running with a specific driver. Will i be able to Install it with wine too?
I wanted to verify how to encode with x264 as I need to encode again but not so keen on buying new hardware just for that. Your video cleared my mind. Very informative and clear with the images. Maybe you could have include the file size in the examples. Top !
@@okay4634 I have tried both of those methods and they don't work for me at all, and its not easy to set up. This video here has been the only solution that has worked for me.
@@MysteriousMindMedia Both have script installers so I think most people should find it easier but not everyone I guess. For me even installing it manually with Lutris / Bottles is more convenient than with system Wine, default prefix and terminal.
@@okay4634Lutris just plain didn't do anything, I tried installing it there and nothing happens. And I've tried bottles but FL tends to be broken after that. The only way that I've managed to get FL to work is though wine.
