A1F-PRO - no key or alarm; don't know about the C3 haven't got one or had one; A1F back wheel hardwired so can't be removed to change tyre or fix a puncture; battery internal hardwired not removable when needing re-cell (I'm sure they don't expect it to last that long so more planned obsolescence for no good reason and even heavier than it needs to be for lifting & moving) these would be -9 in itself? But a very good review with comparisons unlike so many others. As usual, doesn't mean anything at all until at least 6m or over a years use - then review please!
Small generators are cool but when you are with no power you need output there is no replacement for displacement… just wondering with the Honda are you on eco mode ???? Cause eco mode is super efficient
"Super helpful" is an understatement. Thank you so much for posting this video. I'm sure you just saved me a grand in auto repair costs for my 2003 Mazda B2300. That's exactly where mine is leaking.
Glad this was so helpful! If you shop Amazon, do me a favor and use this link next time you buy... Gives me a little kick-back and costs you nothing! amzn.to/4eTo6qX
Actually u know what, nevermind. U got the correct orientation from the beginning. I truly thought it was offset because u had the headlights on sideways when u put the led bulbs on. 🤣🤣 sorry. The beam pattern looks much better now ❤️🔥
Once again. Those Auxito - M3 are worth the money. Fun fact, car light review tested those led bulbs. And it’s well balanced. Auxito claimed it’s 30aw per bulb. But it’s 22.4W per bulb for the observation. And after 27 minutes of run time, which is the commuter time in the us. They get cooled up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. Any led bulbs that’s for all in one or internal driver or a led bulb with an external driver, with the main unit gets under 150 degrees Fahrenheit is a plus, on external driver for around 150 degrees Fahrenheit is about average. For all in one, anything that’s above 150 degrees Fahrenheit is something u need to take in the consideration. The higher the temperature, the shorter the lifespan. The lower the temperature, the longer the lifespan. But those led bulbs will not work well for those headlight housing. It’s not because led will not work with reflector. They do. It’s the offset of the halogen bulbs. When u see the halogen bulb position sideways. And u turn to angle to remove it. And then put the nice two sided led bulbs. The orientation is completely wrong, the led chips are facing up and down or 6-12 o’clock: and it will not use the reflector housing to mimic the same beam pattern as oem. I would change the Auxito - M3, and get either Auxito - Y13 or Y19. Because it has comes with Allen wrench to loose the set screw, to adjust the orientation. If u wonder what is the box between the led bulb and the connector, it’s an external driver for heat management and longevity.
Now those are truly get ur money’s worth when it comes to Auxito. We got no issues using those so far for our Toyota and Scion models. I really thought that Ford C-max came with factory led, just like the rest of the hybrid. That’s a surprise to see this one is full on halogen and incandescent bulbs.
@DoingThingsDan’sWay It’s nice to have a strobe light effect. But what I don’t like about those LED’s, is the dim and bright function effect and sure it glows up the light output more, but it’s not using the reflector housing correctly. The way I see it. It’s a short slim narrow reflector housing for the brake lights. And I highly recommend switch to those two sided Sylvania zevo 7443R led bulbs. Simply because it shoots the red led back to the reflector, and have the reflector REFLECT the light back out. I think those alla lighting should be around 1.8W dim and 3W bright function. And zevo is 0.4W dim and 1.5W. Sure alla lighting is technically brighter than zevo, but the zevo have a better advantage because it’s using the reflector, the zevo light output much brighter than alla lighting. And it looks like a 3W. Zevo led have better dim and bright replication as oem incandescent bulbs. I highly recommend swap to Zevo for better reliability, longevity because of the lifetime warranty. Could use do another video for that? It would be awesome to see. Ur reverse light, turn signals, and ur parking lights have a nice a parabolic reflector housing and the zevo led bulbs will work much better for ur specific Honda application.
Exactly the problem I have. I don’t want to do all of that though. I feel like so many things could go south in the process and trigger a cascade of consequences. I wonder if instead there’s a way to cut the old line and attach the matching section of the new line without disassembling the wheel well or fender. Is there some type of joint you could use to join the sections at a point that is straight and never bends. A point between the leak and where the hose goes down into the fender.
You could certainly try. I like your idea of kite section that doesn’t bend. You just need some kind of really small coupler to join the two sections. The hose is made of a corrugated material which might make a little hard to get a good seal.
Saving people money 2 years later. Had the same EGR code and would never have been able to ta kle this without watching your video. Pro tip: Watch the video 3 times the night before then perform the work with your 17 year old son and look like an auto repair pro!! Thanks Dan!
Good video! I own the same bike and went with the inexpensive option to make sure I liked ebiking before upgrading. I certainly do but IMO this bike seems to be twice.as heavy as the listed 45 pounds. It is an absolute struggle getting it in and out of a car trunk or for those taking a bus it is a real p.i.t.a. to put it in the luggage compartment in the older greyhound/tourbus style buses. Its not as cumbersome on the front mounted rack on the city buses. One thing to mention at night pay attention to the road in front of you. The small wheels are harder to keep balanced and one little hole/obstacle in the road and you can easily spill if going the full speed. Wear a helmet and good quality riding gloves. This bike has no suspension and your body will be absorbing all of that impact which will wear you out if you're not in good shape. Grab a pack of assorted bungee cords for backpacks etc and a small one can perfectly hold a 28-32oz sports bottle, perfectly secure with a good bungee cord. I a believe the range is more like 7-10 miles on a charge. I am thin, have a nominal amount of gear and live in a mostly flat as a pancake area and I never get more than 10 miles before the battery quits. I use about 40-50% throttle so I should be getting a better return but even with some experience now, it's not. For the price I think 3 stars out of 5 is fair. Good starter bike to learn the ropes before uprading.
Brilliant, at 165K have need for a car I maintain. Its grinding, possible wear on drum. It is always the details. This DIY is a headache saver, did the front rotors and ceramic pads, and it is much easier. Thanks much!!
Thanks for this video! However, on my 2014 Yaris, the old brake shoe with the emergency brake connection does not have a pin with a cotter pin but a rivet instead. Any idea of where I can buy the pin which is not included in the kit? Or any idea to work around that encounter?
What “somebody” needs to do is build a powerful lint-vacuum with multiple hose attachments for all types of dry vents . I have a flat hose that is supposed to be universal but doesn’t work with my powerful shop-vac because my shop-vac connection is much larger than the universal connection. I’m too old to be rummaging inside a dryer and my fingers are not as dextrous as they used to be. 😢 I love this machine, but manufacturers really need to rethink dryer vents and cleaning.
Thanks, Dan! This review is very helpful and very true. After i saw this video, i bought 3 of these bikes. They are perfect! It helps me get to work quicker, and its very fun to ride. Thanks for the 10% Coupon too! I paid around 350-360 dollars for a bike! At the end, me and my friends love our new bikes. Once again thanks!
That’s a tough one. You could cut out the back just enough to allow it to stick out, but you don’t want dust/debris/bugs getting into the lense body showing up inside.
Must be really stuck! You also don’t wanna go breaking plastic tabs off either, I get it. Perhaps you could try one of the lint removal brushes that are long and skinny. Be sure to check out the exhaust tube and outdoor vent to make sure those are clear. Those are what will clog up first and pose the biggest risk.
Agreed, but I like to demonstrate things with the simplest too possible for those who don’t have better ones. Same reason I don’t use air tools on camera working on cars.
That’s so funny! I was thinking that at one point myself. Wish the camera could have been a bit wider, but it was already in the back of the drum…. Thanks for the fun comment! 😊
Pull out from the bottom to release button clips. There is a screw in the Dior handle and one behind the door pull as well. You have to remove a life of trim. Watch my video on installing speakers in the front to see how to get in there.
I hear you, but that is most definitely not my experience with multiple vehicles I’ve installed these LEDs into. They substantially improve the clarity by being a whiter light, and the high beams shine substantially further down the road than the standard incandescent bulbs.
@@DansWay not telling about these bulbs , but my friend got not cheap leds from amazon with good reviews for his fusion 2015 and failed a simple test. we just put the cars against the wall after the sundown and in comparison to even c-max 2013 factory bulbs his leds were nothing. and comparing to BMW 528 2009 the c max headlights were nothing. as u get it we can compare that BMW headlights to a modern car and the result will be even better. briefly, those leds change were the worst bulbs I've ever seen :)
@@Alex-gn6xb Gotcha. Yah, there are a lot of options out there. That is why I have stuck with Auxito because they warantee their parts to last, and the quality has been excellent. I haven't had problems with the 5+ sets of headlights I've installed.
The blue wire would go to a wired under-dash brake controller. The Prodigy controller handles that directly on the trailer. The trailer harness plugs into the frame-mounted Prodigy, then a separate connector goes to the tow vehicle. So for this wireless installation the blue wire doesn't go anywhere. Make sense?
Used this approach today on my mother-in-law's Maytag 3000 series dryer that is over 10 years old and suddenly had a burning smell which I figured for a belt or motor. Nope. 2 cubic feet of lint later, and it is working like a champ. Thanks!
Considering the amount of lint you vacuumed out of the trap alone, I would think that there was MORE inside the machine itself. That being said, I think removing the bulkhead and vacuuming the inside of the dryer as well as the exhaust tube would be worth the extra effort. 😎
Good thought, but the lint found inside the houseing (the intake of the air blower) would only be from the environment. So for me it would be more like dusty debris...
Other ways painting the back side of the panel with a rubber or plastic paint with squares of weather proof batting … using a little RF tape to block wire noise is always a plus
