I find it interesting the Chilean Air Force had or has a Phalcon aircraft. That is a pretty advanced early warning system for such a country; they must be pretty paranoid about an Argentinian attack.
on 7/24/24 i think was the time in las vegas and i saw air force one flying over my head! it was the time of my life and on 7/30/24 i was camping and when i drove back home and the way i saw a dc-10 tanker!
I don't know all the airline's histories but do know that Avianca was in part one of the reasons Pan Am was founded. The Germans had founded an airline down there (Colombia) and the US wanted to keep an eye on them, thus PA was born.

Yes flown with lufthansa 4 times in 1 year. To frankfurt, then prague then poland and then bulgaria. All good. Only once had a delay going to prague. But that was about it. One of the best airlines. 👍👍
