FoodFights, where we try it before you buy it. We review two food products every Saturday at 10:00 am EST and put them in a head to head competition to determine which one will be the winner.
The grocery store products are judged on six categories, packaging, value, appearance, texture, aroma, and of course, taste.
We want to let you, the consumer, know what types of products are available. By comparing nationally recognized products versus store brands, it can really be beneficial to make you know that there is a way to save money but not give up taste.
Please, check out our videos to see all the latest competitions.
The pricing has changed, and may affect your preference. As of 2024 Sep 27 for the 8oz can: Cheese Wow is $2.57 and Easy Cheese is $5.24. Twice as much! NOW which one do you like?
One thing about chesters that I do not like, is they are really bad with getting stuck in my teeth. I don't have that problem with the Andy Cap's fries
Something with my taste buds makes all of these super mild. Love the flavor though, so I'm okay with that. Mild is tasty, the tomato in fire is a little too present for myself but it's still good, hot is probably the best one in terms of taste, and the Diablo isn't all that good. They tried to up the hot with the Diablo but detracted a lot of the flavor. Plus, for me, it's still just super mild. So the tradeoff is all negative for me. If you want some solid but mild spice, mix in some Tabasco sauce. Not too much or it'll end up just tasting like it.
Nice take, I noticed some similar things comparing the same two. I don't like that runny texture now, I remember it like the wow cheese, so, I now prefer the Walmart brand, but,,,now both have become dinosaurs. Can't find em anywhere, can't get answers either. Weird though, because the American, plain cheddar, nacho, flavors are in abundance, hy-vee has a brand of sharp cheddar spray in stock,, but,, that tastes rather bad,, so, , I don't get it,, my loss
