is their a chart for v speeds?? in the hornet you can tell when she wants to fly, in the falcon not so much. I usually rotate around 175kts and climb out at say 350 or greater. having a v speed chart for weights would be fantastic, as I use them and have been the last 30 years..
That wingman showing up out of nowhere 😂😂😂 That was hilarious! Nice tutorial man, good explanation and the visual cues def is something that other RU-vidrs don't show/talk about!
The best video i have ever seen on AA in the Viper! And i've been flying DCS since the mid-late 90's in its various forms. This is my go to channel for learning the planes you cover. Thanks.
thanks a lot my man, getting back into the viper and realizing my landings suck, i was too tomcat and hornet brained and kept smacking down a little too hard XD great tutorial and explaining the 2.5deg GP marker and how it all tied together was golden! I appreciate it
Very nice, but being an actual (civilian) pilot, I am asking myself why you ignore the red flag on the Standby Attitude Indicator and yellow raw data (PNEU) advisory on the Altimeter... 🤷♀
Do you still play DCS? these tutorials are really good. Im about 6 months into DCS, I've since got completely hooked and got into VR and loving the F16, Im referring back to these videos as much as chucks guides
My current issue with DCS is the lack of a convincing touchdown effect. I'm referring to a subtle camera shake or something similar. In MSFS, there's an addon called FS-Realistic that provides a very authentic touchdown experience. In DCS, it still feels like I'm in the flare even after touchdown, making it visually challenging to discern whether I've already landed or am still in the flare.
I have a question, why would you take the mav K when you get a single one and not a D or H as you can get 3 ? I know it doesn't matter for the tuto but I see many people just taking 2 mavs instead of 6
Exactly what I've been looking for. Weaseling requires technique that is hard to come by. BTW you can edit the HARM table to include the threats you want or use the HAD to hand-off with PGM2 or 1.
Fellow NE FL resident I see! I just ordered a 4070ti for under $700 on Amazon. Coming from a 1060 this should be amazing. Hoping it will be able to do VR as well. I’ve got a R9 x3D processor and 64gb of DDR5 to pair with the 4070ti
Don’t forget to hit enter on the UFC immediately after starting alignment. It re-zeroes the starting location for INS alignment. If you don’t do this you’ll be asking why your HARMS aren’t showing contacts.
Did you bore sight the mavs on the ground for this? I think the Mavs have been updated I can't seem to get boresight on the ground to work i have to bore sight in the air.
Best explanation yet. Now, can I put it to practice . Thanks for the vid. It will be nice if they had an option to show your throttle inputs during the final to put it all together for me. Yes I know I’m a dummy 😅
Great video! One tip, although you might’ve figured this out already, but you can hit the M-SEL button on the ICP to immediately make a markpoint active.
