This doesn’t work. Wick says if you don’t control a snail make a snail token, otherwise put a +1/+1 counter on snail. It’s not a may ability so once you have a snail on the battlefield he can only put counters on the snail.
With the enchantment Conspiracy it replaces your creatures’ type with a new type of your choice 🐀 . Unlike Maskwood Nexus it removes other types so they will not be snails as long as you control Conspiracy.
I was thinking Shalai would make a pretty good Commander for a more +1/+1 counters based midrange deck. Lean more into the Green for the bones of the deck, and use the White for your answers and of course Akroma’s Will because why wouldn’t you. Using Saryth, the Viper’s Fang to cover Shalai, particularly if you decide to just abandon the Deathtouch angle for Vigilance seems like it would be solid. As I do everywhere I go, I can’t talk up Tempt With Discovery enough as a ramp option. I have literally only failed *once* to get someone to crack, so it’s always essentially an Explosive Vegetation for nonbasics, with a higher potential ceiling. This shell was very interestingly done. Thanks for the ideas. I’m coming to a lot of these cards late, since I only recently returned to MtG for EDH after a lengthy since-Urza’s Block hiatus, so these videos really, *really* help!

Infinite combos are nice but it's kind of lame if you can throw the combo in any deck and the combo itself has no flavor (nothing to do with Pirate Tribal or commanders).

So a lot of people are playing token's Decks world you consider using (Crafty cutpurse) as a creator card to flick with other cards in your 99 or would you bother using the card
Great videos, this channel should be bigger. I wanted to rebuild my Shalai Angles/Humans into mono white pure angles led by Lyra. But now I'm thinking Shalai is still the better option for the ramp, hexproof, etc., and I can still go pretty much all in on angels with a heavy lifegain theme. I feel like the mono white is just too slow no matter how you slice it, as much as I wanted to go that route. Also, Heroic. Intervention.
I recently built an angel deck myself (with Giada, Font of Hope as my Commander) and this video helped a lot in getting ideas for some minor optimisations! (I even won our weekly commander game this week with said angel deck, so I'm very happy ^_^)
I have built a Karlov commander with less creatures and many more artifacts/equipments and life gain engine. Similar to the Wyleth precon but focused on pumping Karlov and getting him shrouded/indestructible. Very fun to play!
Fun deck tech! Question, would it possibly be better to skip on creature removal spells since Karlov can act as creature removal and give those card slots to more life gain or ramp
Currently trying out Giada, Font of Hope as the commander. Having easy Angel ramp in the command zone is strong. Being able to start dropping 4 mana creatures on turn 3 such Battle Angels of Tyr is excellent, and the +1/+1 counters definitely add up!
Love it! I want to get into cEDH a little bit I can’t understand the meta (gitrog, korbold, zur are all decks that I’ve tried to play, but my small brain doesn’t comprehend what I’m supposed to be doing.) this deck has a very clear goal, and is pretty intuitive. Thanks a bunch! ❤️

I should add that there is a new spell from Baldur's Gate called "Blur" that will also combo and draw your whole library with Naru Meha! gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=562941 You just need one other creature on your battlefield to target with the original copy to pop it off.
