We revisit the Angels tribe, now featuring a splash of green! Formerly led by Lyra Dawnbringer, these angels looks to gain life by flying in for lifelink damage. In addition to life gain, recurring creatures from the graveyard will aid us into the late game.

Great videos, this channel should be bigger. I wanted to rebuild my Shalai Angles/Humans into mono white pure angles led by Lyra. But now I'm thinking Shalai is still the better option for the ramp, hexproof, etc., and I can still go pretty much all in on angels with a heavy lifegain theme. I feel like the mono white is just too slow no matter how you slice it, as much as I wanted to go that route. Also, Heroic. Intervention.

Credit to my friend Brian from Thunderlake Gaming for the inspiration to do this transformation. He strongly encouraged adding a second color for support and I am very pleased with the results!

In my shalia deck I put helm of the host, guardian augmenter, bastion protector, and Saryth, the vipers fang to lock my board down. Protect shalia, she protects everyone else in return.

At last! A splash of green has definitely increased the speed and power level :) I hope you agree!

@@dannyboyedh8081 Definitively an upgrade. Green just push the deck further. It's probably better than my pretty pushed Lyra deck. If you like playing Bruna, the fading light and Gisela, the broken blade, Shared Summons is always a nice option to facilitate the meld. But perhaps a bit slow. Quicksilver amulet can act like a ramp spell that allow to dodge counter spells too, with big 6+ cmc creatures. Nice deck you got there. You can also maybe consider The Book of Exalted Deeds from the latest set, since you got a bunch of Lifegain synergies

@@D-Boy22 Wow you're right, that Book of Exalted Deeds has got to go in! Haven't checked out the new set yet, but that one is an auto-include. The others could certainly be added too! Thank you 🤙
