Thanks to the both of you. I am about done with my Axe body spray and will be sure to look out for those parabens. I am 51 and am working on raising testosterone levels so this has been very helpful in weeding out the bad stuff. God bless
My hgb a1c now puts me at prediabetic. I started watching my bg. I run one teens - one twenties round the clock. My fasting glucose is higher than one ten when run by my doctor. I've tested my bg monitor with my test strips against a co-worker's. They measure within eight. Even after intermittent fasting my bg stays high. If I eat 15g of carbs in a meal, my bg drops to under 110. What is going on? I'm very frustrate and can't figure out what causes this when I don't eat carbs.
I’ve been for years trying to eat keto, however, I don’t understand the macros stuff and I’m still always hungry. I really don’t know what I am doing. It’s been two weeks and I do see the loss when I dress but I feel tired all the time. I understand the no sugar in butter and stuff. Please help. In 74 years old, 4’10” 139lbs as of today.
I was hyped for the sugar alternatives until i saw the ridiculous prices they want for them. Take the Keto bread for example. Anyone living in the USA should be appalled at a loaf of bread going for $6.00 - That's 1970s Soviet Russia stuff right there. We can thank the big corporations who keep buying out all the competition to keep the prices high.
yes its feasible. i am active always have been a runner now a walker because I am 77. been using this method sice august of 2022. really was brought up this way too. doing well and still going well.
it's strange how the explain the adaptive glucose sparing. So if your body is so adapted to running on ketones, then why the hell would it produce glucose if it doesn't consume it?????? just doesn't make any sense
“If you look at the numbers alone, it doesn’t seem like it’s doing much…” it only dropped your glucose 12 points… c’mon man you seemed like a sceptic from the beginning.
It did not keep your glucose at a level higher than what it normally would’ve been. It actually lowered it according to your own statistics and data. You lost me…
Black coffee for the gentlemen wasn’t as good on glucose levels as with allulose… I don’t get why he’s presenting data in favor of lowering glucose but verbally disagreeing with his own date…
This video deserves so much more views. I was hoping your whole channel was like this! I would love this kind of info for every thing. Consider making this an entire separate channel concept 🙏
Keith if you ever figure out why you’re so hard to get in and stay in Ketosis, I would love to know. I have been doing low carb for over a year and hard core Ketosis for 6mths. Very little weight loss. Almost negligible. Very, very frustrated. I listen to your results and see much the same when I test my levels.
I just got mine today.I'm going to start with one at dinner. Then tomorrow at my first meal at noon. ❤And if all goes well😊 I'll try it in my morning fast
Hi, I have fibromyalgia, I'm 53, male. Very fit until 35, but have had terrible chronic fatigue since then. I'm on day 12 of a keto diet having around 50grams of carbs a day, but my first urine test strip today shows I'm not in ketosis. Is my previous fitness and lean body (my whole life) something to do with it? I have been thirsty for many days now and drinking plenty of water. Any help please! 🙏
I want you people to take this very seriously. Allulose is not sweet. It has a very mild sweet taste on a scale of 1-10 a 2-, and it has a bad aftertaste. I bought a 3il bag to mix with stevia and I have to put a lot of stevia to get some sweetness in my coffee.
I can't have dairy anymore, and I can't stand just black coffee. So I'm screwed. 1/8 teaspoon of a dairy alternative with no sugar was enough to screw me out of a 72 hr water fast based on my keto urine test. All that deprivation and hunger pains for nothing. What a waste. What's the point of doing a fast if you get screwed when you even WALK by anything other than water? My multivitamins are also gummies and I can't take regular pills.
I don't look at life like that. Too complicated, and in my view unneccessary. I guess I am rather on a lower carb lifestyle than a strict Keto lifestyle. Only strict rule for me, no more than 5grams of sugar per day, and preferably no more than 40, max 50grams carbs. I leave it up to my body to decide how its converts nutrients to energy....at goal weight...insulin fully under control, no inflamation anymore. Solid energy, feeling great emotionally. Whats really amazing is that the protein actually builds muscle higher up your chest, so the scale don't go down but your body shape becomes a lot nicer....now to do resistance training to make them look even beter!😊
Most the time I'm not showing ketosis, but I have lost a lot of weight and I am now off my insulin.. And my a1c dropped to 4.9. So I'm doing pretty good, even if the test strip usually says no ketosis after my 18 hour dailly fast.
I started the MCT oil it's been a couple of days I am giving it a month and see if it works for me and going try cut out rice and pasta ,bread .. not much of a sweet fan but will cut that too my doctors say I have to lose at least 25 pounds otherwise he is going to put me on blood pressure pills and I don't want to take that..I also have hypothyroidism don't know if MCT oil will help.. I do exercise but have trouble losing the weight...right now I am 169 need to get to 135..
Thanks for this thoughtful test on allulose. Hoping to understand the Cephalic Phase Insulin Response that raises insulin in the body just from something that only "tastes" sweet like allulose--but without metabolizing in the body. I also found out 100% cacao can raise stem cell production in the blood and that allulose can possibly lower uric acid (Dr. Richard Johnson)-two things I need right now. My chocolate/butter/allulose bites experiments are delicious-but I'm looking for more data on the neutrality of allulose on insulin spikes. Yours is an excellent start.
Question: I would like to use it more often, but MTC leaks out of me within hours and ruins bedding and clothing. Are there other ways to incorporate it into food, that will not leak out like that? I've just been adding to salad dressing and squirming a teaspoon here and there.😮
