By the way this is not the only video game about IRAN IRAQ WAR there are a dozen or more, mostly made by Iranians but they are mediocre at best! and many of them don't even support English language!!!
I won't be getting this game. You said in the video that this game is fair but its really not fair at all because Trump was able to own like half of the united states before you were even starting your candadacy.
So that's not entirely true, the control reflects the general voting record of said states. For instance, Trump will almost always win in a state such as Alabama. But that color can be changed depending on the time you spend there as well as the TV ads you put there. As an example I managed to turn Texas Blue as Bernie Sanders.

i just discovered this game today found it on my steam recommends, this has what my taste as far as a ww2 strategy game goes to a friggin tea. I have played them all company of heroes 1 & 2, men of war, Steel Division 2, all of them are good in their own right. But I can never stick to them because of how it does not capture what the grind and brutality this war was. This on the otherhand looks to be perfect and the developers certainly did their homework. I have not looked at the DLC's but I would hope they have the Battle of the Bulge, Falaise Gap, and maybe even some of the Italian front battles. gonna be gorging on the content thanks for the video
Great to see you covering MEN OF WAR II. I am definitely enjoying it and love the depth of detail such as every individual soldier having their own inventory and being able to dig trenches of different heights. Digging my first trench i actually made it so deep my soldiers could not get out of it ha ha. The blood and gore is off the charts and very welcomed. I could not believe when i saw the blood flowing and the body parts flying everywhere. Also seeing soldiers slowly dying after being caught in a explosion is very nice. The fast pace at which everything occurs is also very nice capturing that hectic feel of battle. The amount of content is also incredible with Battalion Mode, PVP, PVE, the main campaign. The reinforcement timer is also very well done reminding me of TERMINATOR DARK FATE's reinforcement style. The long range combat is also a delight to behold giving that sense of death coming out of nowhere. As for as comparison to the previous game it is different for sure and much more hectic in a good way without feeling overwhelming while the previous games were a bit more slow paced and stealthy. Many people are calling MEN OF WAR II a hardcore version of COMPANY OF HEROES on steroids. There is also a classical mode i have not yet played which is supposed to be more like the previous games. They are also planning to add a offline mode in a upcoming patch which am looking forward to since i only play single player. Pretty amazing to see two fantastic wargames come in the past two months with HEADQUARTERS WORLD WAR II and MEN OF WAR II. The red guards were basically left-wing militias while the white guards, so called, were right-wing militias. Neither side had very good or consistent military training as Finnish military had been surpressed during the periods of oppression, when the Russian empire tried to take away the autonomous status of the grand dutchy of Finland. After declaration of independence these militias filled the power vacuum left by a newly independent country without a formal military. The best trained, or at least most formally trained troops on the red side were without doubt the Russian garrisons that took the red side. The Russian troops had been agitating for the reds and causing problems for the public order. Shortly before the red revolt started the Finnish government had declared the white guards to be the official military of the legal government. Mannerheim was chosen as the leader for the armed forces and it was under his orders that the civil guards started disarming the Russian garrisons in Ostrobothnia. The red revolt against the legal government started briefly after these events had been set into motion. The level of military training on the white side was also varied. Without doubt the best trained Finnish soldiers on the white side were by and large the finnish jaegers who returned from Germany shortly after the hostilities started. The jaegers would have wanted to fight together as a separate unit of their own, but Mannerheim insisted that they would be of better use when dispersed among the civil guards as NCOs so that their military experience would be more widely distributed among the troops. At a later phase Germany itself also intervened on the white side, providing more soldiers on the white side with a high level of formal training. This was at the later phase after the war was basically won already and red defeat seemed inevitable already.

Since the enemy didn't have any counter cannon I would have min/maxed my cannon and moved them up a bit earlier as soon as you routed most of them from the tree line but that's just me. Great to see this game again thanks man.
